An attractive but functional summer dress

This dress is great for hot and humid weather. Easy to wash and dry when traveling. I also like this print much better than some of the other options for this style. My one complaint is the pockets. The way they are sewn in at the hip they seem to always stick out out a bit, which is not very flattering. I’m 5’7”, 125#, and not very curvy, so I can’t blame it on me being markedly pear shaped. If they weren’t sewn so strangely I would just remove them, but they’re sewn in both horizontally and vertically. Otherwise, I love the dress.

Comfy beyond belief

This dress is sooo comfy & forgiving. I'm 74 & bought it a road trip I'm doing. I'm patiently waiting for another one I just ordered.

Cute dress, but arm holes stick out

This dress is lightweight and hangs nicely. The arm holes stick out slightly at the bottom, but I’m hoping I can just add a stitch to make it look better.

Wrinkle-free, washes well

I have 5 of these dresses, and buy another every time I see a new pattern. They look smart, dressed up or down, the fabric is wrinkle-free and look great after many washes. Folds up small for travel, quick-drying. The pockets are great and deep enough so nothing falls out.

Poorly constructed

I was very disappointed in how this dress was cut or sewn. I had quickly tried in on when I received it and thought I'd need to take it "in" just under the arms. When I finally got to altering it, I discovered that one arm hole was larger than the other and the darts didn't match up either. One dart was sewn higher than the other. I tried to remove the binding around the armhole and complete the alteration, although I was going to have to leave the darts as they were. After hours of trying to get the binding back on, a hole appearing in the binding, etc., the dress ended up in the trash!! What a total waste of money. It should have been perfect if sewn correctly!

Great dress, I have it in 2 prints

I first got this while on vacation and it was $75 at the resort. I now paid about $50 and got free shipping. This is a great dress. Pockets, comfortable, no wrinkling. It's like putting on a long t shirt but more comfortable. It doesn't show sweat, you can't wrinkle it even if you tried to, and it goes through the washer and dryer and comes out like new.I just love this dress.

Great fit for a woman in her 60’s!

This is my 5th Columbus dress and I love them as a beach coverup and causal wear. They are light and dry quickly. Perfect for a super hot day!

Not Columbia quality

I ordered two of these striped dresses (the navy and light blue). Both were sewn with side seams not matched, and poor quality seam construction. Also there is puckering where the pocket is insert in the seam which causes the dress to not lay flat against my hip. This usually is caused by poor cutting and wavy (not straight) seam stitching. The picture on the Amazon website shows the back and side seams with stripes matching. Very disappointed as this is not typical Columbia quality. Are these dresses factory "seconds"? They are being returned. For reference I ordered size small. I am 5"3",118 lbs. 36 bust, 27 waist, 37 hips.
