Looks a bit cheap for the price
I have several clothing items by Karl Lagerfield but this one isn’t the best. The materials feels cheap - not just what it’s made of but the embellishments feel cheap as well. It’s also super long and fit slightly larger than expected. I’m keeping it because I need a pink dress for an event but having it tailored in hopes it will look better.

Actually prettier than shown in pictures!!!
This dress also has a matching jacket which I bought as well! I am so happy with the product because it fits great, looks and feels well made with quality details. A classic outfit that never goes out of fashion. Honestly the pictures don’t show how pretty the dress is, very well made! Thank you

Cheap material
I usually like Karl Lagerfeld clothes and its quality. But not this time, unfortunately... I dont like the fabric - pure synthetic and very prone to snags! And the design (pearls and chain details) in person looks cheaper than it appeares on photos! Dissapointed in this dress...

This dress has a very delicate and classy look. I love the chain detail and the pearls. It has two front pockets that open with just enough room to fit your keycard or money. For reference, my height is 5’2, waist 27 inches, hips 37 inches and bust 34 inches. When looking at the size chart, I fall between size 2 and 4. Pictured, I am wearing the size 2. The bust was slightly small for me, the waist was a bit loose and the hips were tight when I sat down. The lining was a bit uncomfortable for me because I could feel it pressed on my thighs when I walked around. Also, the dress seems to get a little bit wrinkly- definitely watch out for that. Overall, I think this is a cute dress. It’s certainly falls on the more conservative side. Make sure to go a size up if you can’t decide which size to get!

Beautiful designer dress
Karl Lagerfeld Paris is a haute couture fashion design house. The dresses and clothing that they make is considered among the finest in the world. Just wearing something made by them makes you feel like a million bucks. It may be silly, but it is true - when you put on a designer dress, you just feel PRETTY! But when you take a designer dress, and add unique, attention-getting, attractive design accents like chains and faux pearl buttons, it REALLY takes that feeling to a new level! This Karl Lagerfeld Paris Women's Tweed Dress with Pearl and Chain Detail is all about that kind of detail. One great thing about this dress is that it can be worn to a cocktail party, or to work in a nice office. Either way, you will look, and feel, like a million bucks. First, people will ask you about the dress. It isn't the kind of dress that goes un-noticed. So people will be asking you about the dress and you will get the opportunity to say, "This old thing? It's just a Karl Lagerfeld Paris dress that I picked up when we were in Europe a few years ago and I haven't had a chance to wear it yet." Ha ha! Seriously though, this is the kind of dress that people will ask you about and you will get to tell them what it is! And while it isn't CHEAP, it isn't nearly as expensive as they will probably assume! So it is a way to look stylish without breaking the budget. I have included a couple of up-close pics of the pearl buttons and the chain detail. I love the chain detail actually SEWN INTO the dress. It looks very classy. Also, don't underestimate the TWEED in this dress either - it is a beautifully woven fabric with the tweed pattern and feels very soft and comfy. I really am impressed with this dress and I suspect you will be too. The only real downside I saw was that the cut could be a tiny bit boxy for some women, you could potentially need a touch up on that cut with a tailor, depending on your figure and the cut of the dress. I have no problem recommending this dress and think you will like it! I hope you find this to be a helpful review. If there is anything more you would like to know, please ask. Runs really small purchase one size up
Runs really small. It’s kind of interesting, I am 5’9”, 180. I always wear large with Lagerfield but this dress is cut quite different. The fabric has some stretch but this is not a sort of dress that I would suggest wearing tight to your body. It shows everything, specially if you purchase the lighter colors.
