I use this when sanding western red cedar. With the right cartridge it is great for other filtering also.

Highly recommend you buy this product while you still can quality product, preppers will love this. the filters however will get ya but dont cheap out on this, this product will determine if it saves your life or not, not something you should ever cheap out with. but 3m provides a over the top product for the price got mine today and it fits wonderfully . snug and all. highly recommend this.

Large size = normal adult face

Get the large size! The large/small naming convention is confusing. I don't have a big ol boulder head so I got the small size - That fit my 12 year old daughter just fine. They should name the sizes adult/youth, or normal/petit something like that. I had to go back and buy a large.

Sturdy - well built!

As good as expected! I order these masks for me and my guys, we use them often through the year and I just checked last time we had to replace a mask was 3+ years ago.... Not a bad deal!

Surprisingly decent.

I ordered this thing as just a general purpose filter mask because I don't/didn't have one and I do occasionally do things where having one would be a good thing. Like cleaning the coils under my refrigerator when they have so much dust it's unbelievable. I don't really want to breathe that crap and I could use a little cheapo facemask but they never fit right and the real cheap ones don't have a vent so the air gets stale and the dust still gets through and AHHHH! So this doesn't cost a lot. 8 bucks. I figured I'd give it a shot. What can you buy for 8 bucks these days? I was kind of annoyed that it doesn't come with any filters at all (have to order them separate) but again, 8 bucks. I'll end up spending more on filters for this than it cost. Those are pricey. Even for the basic ones. I don't understand why. Even the ones that have charcoal in them are not that complicated to manufacture so why the big price? Oh well. Anyway. I just got this yesterday and am still waiting on my "filters sold separately" which will not be here for days. I guess that's what you get when you go cheap. I was going to order the other one that supposedly comes with filters but some people said they didn't get the filters and I wasn't going to pay twice as much for the same basic product that's supposed to come with filters but sometimes doesn't. I think this will do the trick for my purposes. I'm not going to be doing anything super hardcore with it. Mostly just dust. I was obviously a bit concerned about the fit but that turned out not to be an issue really. Seems to fit well and is adjustable. It's a little uncomfortable but it's a mask that goes on your face and stays there with the help of elastic bands. Comfort is relative in that scenario. Like I cam imagine it would probably be unpleasant to wear this for a long time but I doubt you'd get much improvement in that area unless you spend A LOT more. I personally don't have the funds to experiment and see if one that costs ten times more is a little more comfortable. Anyway, I have tested it by putting it on and blocking the intake holes to see if it seals well around the silicone part that goes against your skin and it does. There is a little bit of air getting through somewhere but that's if I really push it. When you have filters on there, you're not going to be trying that hard to get the air in and the air is going to take the path of least resistance (like air does). A set of clean filters that are not completely clogged are going to be that path. I do wear glasses and it's a bit close but I can wear them with this on. The nose bridge area is just right there where if it came up any more it would be a problem. But it's probably about as good as you can expect on that for low cost. I mean, it's a little bit cheaply made but really not bad for what it costs. It will get the job done.

Watch for details, I apparently didn't!

I ordered the half face mask 3m respirator and when I got the most basic of basic frames that still need EVERYTHING to function, I was pretty upset. Might've been my oversight, but still seemed misleading. I'm sure it works GREAT once you spend a good $40+ on all the components.

Does NOT come with filters

You would think they would warn you, but this product does NOT contain any filters at all. So you have to purchase filters separately, otherwise this mask in useless. This is not a huge deal, but it would be very helpful if 3M or Amazon put that fact into the product description so consumers know that they must purchase filters separately. Many people will assume filters are included, but they are not.

Decent Mask - DOES NOT COME WIH FILTERS

Works well I use it in my garage when welding or painting, fits under my welding mask just fine. Does not come with any filters so buy some when you purchase this, I didnt realize that at the time of purchase

Works well - feel safe with this on

Had a really challenging mould situation - couldn't last but a few minutes in the work space with regular N95 masks - but with these on and the pink filters - it was not a problem lasting several hours. They work really well and I don't get hot working. Be safe - get this if you need to work in challenging environment. well worth the money.

Good value

It works well. The large one fit me fine. I had used a different brand prior and I would say this one is the same size as the other brand’s medium. My only complaint is that after using it for a while, it is letting some moisture out of the exhaust port. Admittedly, I am working fairly hard (hand sanding) but it gets the wood wet which is a bit of a problem. The other brand I used never did that. Overall this thing is a good value and I would buy again.

Mauvaise conception

Ce masque est d’une très mauvaise conception. En plus, je l’ai recu endommagé. Un article de seconde main. Ne vaut pas le prix demandé. Malheureusement, il est non retournable et non remboursable. Rien n’indiquait que l’article vendu n’était pas remboursable. Vaut mieux acheter local qu’en ligne. Vraiment décevant. Je devrai le jeter à la poubelle.
