Very good, inexpensive sun protection umbrella

I like the functionality of this umbrella. It has an opaque black fabric that completely blocks the sun. It has what looks like it will be a durable frame and a good auto open and close button. The handle is fairly comfortable for a compact umbrella, compared to some I have had that were hard to grip- they were so small. I like the wrist strap and the weight of the umbrella is decent. I did notice that the coating on the handle which makes gripping it easier wore away rather quickly; it did not stand up to oily sunscreens. I would still purchase it despite this. Also, my daughter accidentally broke the cap off the top of the umbrella, trying to make it compact by pressing it on a solid surface (which is how I taught her to do.) It just slipped on the surface and the cap came off. Lucky I bought three of them, one for me and one for each of my kids, so she can use the one she broke. Other than that, I think it is a good value and fair quality for a decent UPF, sun blocking umbrella.

Design seems sturdy

I haven't used this umbrella yet in either the sun or the rain, but when it arrived, I noticed that the design seems strong and sturdy. The thing I don't like is that I chose the black version with 10 ribs, but I received one with only 8 ribs, however I decided not to go through the hassle of returning this item because the design looks quite good nevertheless. The material does look like it will likely protect from UV, but again, I haven't tested this yet. I have started getting dark spots on my face despite wearing 50+ sunblock, so I will know this umbrella is effective when I go out into the sun and don't see any spots getting darker or new spots appearing. In any case, I will update my review when I have more experience with this umbrella.

It's good but not for traveling

The product is good but the Amazon delivery is not. The umbrella is sturdy and is not as easily broken as my previous one. It's not so easy to close it, the first time I tried to do that I injured myself. It protects from both sun and rain very well, but it's too big and heavy to use it for traveling. I used my student account and subscribed to the prime free trial, but it didn't work. The delivery was long. I would be not be surprised if they charge me as I received prime. Probably won't order anything as two weeks delivery is too long for me.

Great buy

I bought this product because I was travelling to a warm climate and needed to stay out of the sun per doctors order. This umbrella was a great purchase. It not only provided UV protection, but it great against the wind and for rain.

It's OK

It's kinda heavy and not as lightweight as i hoped. Seems sturdy enough but the belt for the snap tab wasn't sewn on well and it is already half undone. There is a pouch to keep the umbrella into but at this price point, i expected better.
