Perfect Blackout Curtains
Achim Home Furnishings Sutton Blackout Panel, 52-Inch by 63-Inch, Brown These are wonderful! Yes, you will see some light on the curtains themselves. However, the room will be pitch dark. This is just what we needed because our TV is directly across from our bedroom windows (we have a low California King sized bed that sits under the windows). Also keep in mind that if you only get enough panels to cover the windows from one end to the other, you will see more light. However, the more panels, the less light - in the picture, you can see that they are draped and pleated/bunched as most curtains hang in a decorative fashion. This doubling up of the material also lets in less light; whereas, stretching the fabric taut will allow more in (this is true of any fabric). Finally, you will need to make sure that you have a very thin rod. The hole made for the rod in these is very small. You could always rip the seam and sew yourself a bigger hole if you have the skill and inclination. If not, get a thin rod.

Small diameter curtain rods only!
I have the Sage curtains. They look just like the picture. I like the color and it really does help block the sunlight. The pocket at the top for the curtain rod is very small and it was hard to move the fabric along the rods. I don't need to slide the fabric back and forth on mine, but others may have a problem.

Lovely panels
Ok so I ordered these for my bedroom in the color Tan, I was totally thrilled until I noticed one panel had a 5 inch black thread sewn through in front of the curtain. I was bummed but contacted the seller and was immediately sent another one, with that being said the panels are absolutely lovely, they are soft and they do a good job of keeping the light out. As far as color they are Tan, the print on the panel has a sateen like finish but not an overly shiny gold color. I am giving these 5 stars because despite the fact that one was a defect the seller made it right and sent a replacement at no charge immediately, I love how they look in my bedroom and because hey sometimes things just happen when ordering but I enjoy them nonetheless and the price was right.

Luxurious Curtains Reasonably Priced
After spending hours researching drapes that would block light, were a neutral color, had a sophisticated pattern at a reasonable price I found the Achim Sutton Blackout drapes. They arrived 4 days after ordering and at only $15.65 per 52” x 63” panel they were a great value. Although they are not true “blackout” drapes, they are very high quality and look luxurious.

Beware of "Tan"
The quality is fine but the picture shows a more silvery-ish tan and these curtains are not in any way silver or gray. Tan shouldn't even be the color, gold should be the color. Very disappointed in the misleading picture...I would keep them if they didn't clash with the paint color and my bedding fabric.

Love them, but the rod pocket is small
I bought the panel pair in brown, still waiting on the valances, and I just love them. They are just as pictured, very rich color and beautiful pattern. the only thing I don't see mentioned is that the rod pocket is narrow, definitely not meant for a one inch rod. It does fit, but very tightly, so the curtain cannot be opened and closed easily. So if you plan on purchasing it I would recommend a 3/4 inch rod or less. Enjoy. Can't wait for the valances, it's going to be perfect!! :)

LOVE these
These curtains are so lovely! I bought the 63" sage ones, and they block out the light nicely. I like how the stitching around the pattern glows, but not to the point that it lets in light. I've posted a couple photos that show how they block both direct and indirect light. Even though you can see where the light hits directly in the morning photo, it doesn't bother me because they seem to absorb it. I definitely recommend

10 minutes in dryer removes the wrinkles.
These are great curtains, great privacy, really do darken the room. I have 2 at my 6 foot slider and they do cover perfectly but I like a fuller look so I ordered 2 more. I have the brown in my livingroom and bedroom. So soft and the really do look nice. You cant beat the price.
