Pretty good...

This was bought for my 87 year old mother-in-law so she could see the numbers better from a distance. She gave away her black and white large numbered thermometer to another daughter, she prefers this one, it's "more colorful". As far as accuracy and other things, no complaints, I'm sure we'd hear about if there were. As good as it is, I guess, it works, it's a little busy for my taste, but we all like different things.

Won't be reliable for long... should really be advertised as indoor only...

I just bought one of these mainly for the look and not the accuracy, but I was surprised that the bimetal spring that acts as the sensor is left open and free to the elements. Every other such item I purchased before had at least a small cup over the element to protect it from, well, the "elements" ... (dust, rain, you know). This model does not and so insects can get into the structure pretty quick. I would suggest it be called "indoor only" for truth in advertising! What's ironic is I bought it because it's made in USA and yet is cheaper and of poorer construction than the many China made versions sold. The company needs to pay attention to this fact!

Easy to read!

The 12" size and the large number read out look great and is easy to read. Mounted it on the house on my back patio.

Rather expensive for a lump of plastic with a picture on it, very cheap, would say it cost less than £1 to make.

Difficult to see.

Difficult to see as the background is dark. Also it’s numbers that are easily visible are n Fahrenheit. And the marker or pointer has a red tip. Not easily seen especially with red green colour blindness. Would not rebut because of these things. Very pretty picture though.

Smashed item

When this item arrived it was smashed I have package the parcel up to send back and it is costing me 19.00 pound the thermometer was 20.00 !! Any help??????

Not very accurate temperture reading

Not very accurate temperture reading , but I only pay $6.09 from Amazon add-on. So I'm keeping it .
