Overall great shoe

These are a nicer version of a few cheaper mesh-style shoes my husband has worn, and the difference is definitely noticeable in quality. For one thing, one of his major issues with cheaper shoes is that they now all have foam soles. While they're comfortable, foam soles get torn up on pavement and other surfaces very easily, and some of his work is done outdoors, occasionally on roadways, and foam soles don't last. \ These shoes have the comfort of the mesh he likes, with a deep and comfortable yet more solid sole that seems a bit more durable. The mesh is also a kicked-up version of what he's used to, with more compression and less stretch. That's a good thing! The mesh on the less expensive shoes gets stretched out and loose over time, becoming too flimsy to be supportive. The mesh on these shoes has stayed firm and stable, providing more support. Overall really pleased with these both in quality and performance. Would not heistate to purchase these again.
