AMAZING PANTS - BUT WOMEN NEED POCKETS TOO!!!

I love the fit, stretch, and give in all the right places. These pants are a must have for work, casual events and more. HOWEVER, I know the world expects women to be octopuses and we are expected to be able to carry and multi-task as amazing beings, but WE REALLY NEED POCKETS! The back pockets barely fit a credit card (horizontally) and I'm leery as I don't want to lose such a valuable item. GIVE US POCKETS, WE NEED THEM TOO!

A bit short but super comfy

I am unusually tall for a woman so if your not tall these will be perfect. I’m 5’11 just shy of 6ft. I have long legs. These hit unrolled just at my ankle bone. I roll them for spring so no big deal. They are very comfortable! I am smaller waisted with hips and a bum and they fit my waist and are comfort professional. ** I officially purchased them in every color. Like I said, they are a bit short for us tall women and are worn more like capris?? And the button is weak, I suggest reinforcing it. But they are very comfortable for work!

Not for slim figures

These pants are good quality and beautiful in color. I am 5'5" about 115 pounds. I ordered a 2, but they were way too baggy on the legs for my petite figure. I returned them, but I would recommend them for someone with a curvy figure.

If you're 5'2" or shorter, be prepared to hem these

It's super annoying that the size chart doesn't have an inseam length. Another reviewer shared that she's short and the pants inseam shrunk. However, I'm not willing to wash them to find out. With so many clothing lines offering petite or short inseams, why doesn't Amazon Essentials follow the trend? The inseam on the size 18 (straight, not curvy) is about 30". As a frame of reference, I'm a consistent size 14 in LB and NYDJ. Lastly, the fit is weird. I'm curvy (booty, ample thighs) with a small waist, and the straight cut is too boxy (with too much space in the waist) and the Mid-Rise Skinny-Fit Chino Pants were a bit obscene. I've given up with the Amazon Essentials Chinos.

Sizing is a nightmare!

Originally ordered size 18. Got size 16 but they fitted so all good. Wanted more in another colour so ordered 16 but received 14 which were too small so returned. Tried again ordering 18, thinking I would get 16 again but no, received 14 again so they had to go back as well. Very frustrating. The ones I kept are very comfy considering I’ve got used to wearing joggers all day. If only they could get the sizing correct I would have liked more but I’ve given up now!

Don't buy unless you like returning items as a hobby

THE SIZE I order these trousers recently in size 18. Trousers arrived but two sizes too small, size 14. I returned them and got a refund then reordered the size I wanted, i.e. size 18. Trousers have just arrived but one size too small this time, size 16. Perhaps it is third time lucky? Not for me they are going back! A complete waste of time.

'Classic' is a good curvy fit

I haven't narrow waist relative to hips and usually struggle with back gap. There was minimal gaping with these though. There are darts in the rear area that allow for a narrower waist and fuller butt and hips. The material feels thick but not too stiff with just a little bit of stretch. The olive colour is a nice muted green. I'm very impressed with the quality and the cut for the price that I paid! Note that I ordered a size 14 but the trousers had a size 10 label, but fit perfectly. I believe this might be because the trousers are labelled according to US sizing as this is the size I would be.

Sizing is messed up

I read the other reviews about random sizing, and when I selected size 18 it showed 20..... so I thought "Either size might be ok". They sent a 16. Truly bizarre. The product is good though.
