Solution

I know why they don’t make a 90 degree elbow, however, as in plumbing, they could make a 90 degree sweep. That would solve my situation. Thank you for listening !

Went by reviews saying standards size, not for me

This is two sizes too big for my standard downspouts. Just went by reviews, my mistake, seems to be many sizes labeled standard. My bad.

A must buy!! So easy a child could figure it out.

I had to replace our old ones because our dog chewed through them since they didn’t initially fit anyhow. When purchasing this product make certain that the spout is the correct size and style you want. This is the standard sized elbow downspout for houses. They have two styles A or B. The styles determine which way you want the water to run. If you purchase the wrong style you could have the water running onto your home instead of away from it. You can determine which style to purchase by looking at your house spout and determining which direction the spout rectangle is facing and comparing it to the elbow spout styles. Look at the top of the sellers styles both styles are different and distinguish which way the water would run, it’s like grade school legos you have to figure it out to build it properly. This seller has both styles for pretty cheap (under $4) just go to the sellers Amazon store to find what style you need. Pros: easy to install Great material Durable Inexpensive Cons: there are none thus far, it’s pretty simple

Just what I needed. Easy to install.

It is the exact item I needed for a couple of my downspouts. They went on easily. One end is ever so slightly larger than the other so you can place them either over or inside the spout. I didn't need a screw; the fit seems solid. I have no complaints about metal thickness. Just perfect.
