Does its job!

Purchased these to help with a battery corrosion problem (I guess thats always the point of buying these). Was pleased at how they've worked thus far. I will say they are a bit expensive as I totally spaced out about a local hardware store which had them for half the price. But seeings how this is a review on the product and not the price, I'll give it a 4 star. Nice product and decent packaging/display.

Great for keeping corrosion away.

Installed them in our 2004 Toyota Sequoia and they have worked great. The rubber is fits perfectly around the battery post clamps. I have had no corrosion issues since install.

Perfectly fits marine terminals ... but a bit overpriced

These are thick, high-quality boots that fit marine terminals made for wingnuts. However, I took a star because I felt they were still overpriced for what they are.

I Am Quite Happy With This One!

This product costs a little extra cabbage but is worth it. The terminal cleaner is definitely marine grade as advertised, quite beefy and not cheepy! I use it in my automotive and truck repair trade with fine results. I actually think this unit is better than the Snap-on Brand it replaced. The only negative: it's an import and not American Made. So far though, that has had no effect on it's performance. Finding American Made products to purchase is a long tall order now a days. This Ancor Battery Terminal Cleaner gets my seal of approval!

Ok but hardware could use some help

The terminal itself is pretty beefy which is good, but the hardware is a little suspect. The nut to tighten down the terminal is soft and will lose threads easily. Easily fixed by going to the local hardware store and buying a SS nut for $.11 but still it just one more of those things that don't always go right. Other than than, it is pretty good. Terminal post was a little large for my application (replacing the positive terminal on a 2007 Nissan Xterra) but I was able to slightly enlarge the ends of the stock cables only using a file and they fit on snugly.

Just What My Boat Needed

One of the things the Coast Guard Auxillary looks at when they perform a safety check is whether the terminals of the battery are exposed. I've been told it's one of their most common gigs on their checklist. Well, now mine aren't and my spring safety check ought to be passed with flying colors.

Awsom product, excellent material, product coverage is perfect. It's the perfect product for covering the terminals of a 2 post deep cycle battery. Ask me again in 2 years of how this product has held up under real life conditions.

This product is tinned BRASS not copper as stated in the item title. Mine came very dirty and corroded looking but overall decent product. Pricey but they are marine grade and should last - we will see
