color has changed

I first started using the 213 and was happy with the filter, but the next time I decided to order the 213CBN just to see the difference, especially with dogs in the house.. Definitely noticed an improvement and was pleasantly surprised how nice and fresh the air smelled in my home. Then it was time for a new filter so I ordered the 213CBN again. To my surprise, instead of the expected black/grey sides, both sides appear grey like the regular 213. Today I found AprilAire customer service number and called to ask if there was a color change or if I received the wrong product packaged in the right box. The service representative knew the answer immediately and assured me it is the same 213CBN product, but was unsure whey they changed of color. So I am relieved to know it will be what I expect and plan to keep using in the future.

I think it works.

Expensive filter. Does not look as dark as the picture. Easy to install. Hard to tell how well it works to remove odors. We did not have a major odor problem even with our dog who uses pee pads in the house. We change them frequently when they are wet. I think they are worth the money if you have a real problem with odors.

Great value and cleaning power

These filters make a huge difference in mr air quality for my home. A little pricey, but worth it to me to have cleaner air. I replace more often than instructions due to pets, and replacement is a breeze with autoship.

Good filter.

This filter does seem to help to get rid of stuffy odors. Just wish they were not so expensive.

What's best for outdoor allergens?

While I have always preferred a charcoal & electro-static AC filter, I have not really felt much difference over the 210 1 year filter. The 210 filter seems to be a bit thicker and costs less than the Aprilaire 213.

Reliable Air Filter

AIR FILTER - Priced right, great quality, easy to install. We need this type of air filter for our air conditioner. They are expensive, so we were looking for competitive pricing and the product that we need. We have three dogs and need the great quality to handle the dust and pup hair etc. We are very pleased with the product and what we paid for it.
