Works Well

I like the yellow handle to remove the plug, it's more useful than I would have thought it to be. The contacts hold well though I would have preferred something easier to install. I can't speak to how well it keeps out moisture. I would buy it again.

Happy but not easy to install

Very well made product but it isn't easy to install. The green ground connection is at a different angle than the black and white and the wires aren't easy to insert into the connector. Happy with product but be prepared to struggle a bit with installation.

Plastic melts

I bought this to replace my 20 year old original plug on my RV. Installation was straight forward. Worked fine the first year but into the second year the plastic adjacent the hot and return pins has melted. I'm still using it but have to be careful plugging into receptacles. No where near as good asa rubber plug.

No Longer a Good Buy

I found this replacement plug well designed and well made. It was easy to install it on a 30 amp RV cord that need a new plug. The yellow handle make it easy to remove from the power pole. While not the least expenzive, it's a very good buy given the quality. I previously purchased the Camco 55132 RV 30 amp replacement plug ($8.68 on Amazon Prime) and it was disappointing. I'm replaceing the Camco unit with this one. Update: When I recommended this plug it was selling for $18.11 Now it's $29.99 and not worth it. [...] has it for $16.99 and free shipping for Good Sam Mambers. 2nd Update: They must have read my review... this price has dropped again. Now recommended. January 2013 - Last Update. Back to 5 stars. The plugs been in use for some time now and working just fine. The price keeps changing but at the present $22 it's a good buy.

Good feel to it.

This product doesn't have the cheap feel to it that you sometimes find in such items. It appears to be somewhat well made. Time will tell.

Product as described

Works good so far. Put it on our camper as a replacement for one that got stolen. Plastic body on the plug seems a little light, so we will see how long it lasts, but for the price I can't complain.

Very good 30 amp power plug for the money

As close as you will get to an actual molded head I have used the Camco ones in the past this is far superior, better built housing, heavier brass components and seals better around the cord.

Fine replacement for old plug

I purchased this plug to replace an old plug on a RV I just purchased. The old plug had lost its back cover along the way and was wrapped in electrical tape. I had little comfort in the electrical tape insulating me from 120 volts especially since I could see brass poking out of the tape. Local big box store had only one plug in stock and I purchased it. Before installing the plug I found this one. I have since installed this plug and like the construction of it. The plug purchased from big box store is now in stand by just in case back cover thieves strike again.
