Well made
This jacket is well made. The material is thick, and it sure does the job of repelling water and snow. It runs a bit larger, but that's the way I like it. The only thing I dislike is not having pockets on the side as I usually keep my hands in my pockets to keep them warm. It just feels weird. other than that, is a good choice, I also think that it could be less expensive.

Stylish and Water-Resistant
I recently got the Arctix Men's Hail Rain Jacket and was overall satisfied with its performance. It kept me dry during a heavy downpour and the polyester material was smooth to the touch. However, I did have an issue with the sizing. Despite typically wearing a size large, the jacket felt too big and baggy on me. Despite the sizing issue, the jacket is designed and engineered to offer flexibility and a comfortable fit. I appreciated the accurate sizing, as it can be difficult to find a jacket that fits well. The Arctix Men's Hail Rain Jacket also boasts superior warmth and comfort, which I found to be true during my experience wearing it. One aspect of the jacket that impressed me was its durability. It was rigorously tested in extreme winter weather, which made me feel confident that it will withstand rainy conditions for a long time to come. Overall, I would recommend the Arctix Men's Hail Rain Jacket for anyone in need of a reliable rain coat. Just be sure to double check the sizing before purchasing.

A bit big, heavy duty
This isn't the most comfortable, but that is because it's got a job to do. Feels rubbery, doesn't breath at all, but it's suppose to keep you dry, so it's doing its job. It's a bit big on me, I usually order medium sizes. I don't know if that is intentional or not.

Great for rain
Does a good job of rain protection. Looks very good. Size is good. I ordered it oversized because I often have layers of clothes on when raining.

Good overall, sleeves very long for Large size
The first time I wore this jacket, the sleeves nearly covered my hands. I had ordered the Large size, something I checked after noticing the sleeves. Normally, sleeves on a large-sized jacket will end at around the base of my thumb. These are about 2" longer. I can fold the cuff under but it's still a bit long. The body of the jacket fit as I expected for the size. This jacket should keep you dry in wet weather with its adjustable hood and snaps on the front. The pockets have snaps as well as flaps that are secure on each end so pocket contents will stay dry even if the snap isn't closed. The jacket is not marketed a being warm, but the Arctix brand name might lead some to think it will have its own insulation. There's a thin lining but no insulating layer. You'll need to wear something warm underneath it when it's cold enough outside. One thing this jacket does not have that I miss is side pockets behind the two front ones. I often like to stick my hands in jacket side pockets while walking at times. Overall, though, this is a good jacket to have in the often rainy and cold Pacific Northwest.

Keeps you dry but heavy
I got this raincoat to replace one I had out grown. The first thing I noticed was the weight. It is much heavier than I expected which I assume is due to the hail rating. It fit as I expected. What I don’t like is that it doesn’t have any ventilation holes like my previous jacket had. I run warm so using this raincoat when it is not cool means I begin to sweat. As I said, no ventilation at all. It does keep me dry. There hasn’t been any hail so not certain how that will feel.

Works well, size is all over the place
OK, first off this is a very solid jacket. The outside lining is like a thick durable waterproof membrane and the inside lining is on the thinner side but it’s still very warm. This jacket does repel all types of elements, wind, rain, snow and even freezing rain. It seals up nicely to keep wind gusts from sneaking in and has a nice large hood to cover all of your head. The pockets are nice and deep in the front and there is a vent in the back to prevent overheating. The jacket itself is actually kind of heavy for being a lightweight jacket, I think it’s the outer membrane that adds all the weight. And the issue I can’t get over is the size is ridiculously large. The sleeves are too long, it’s too baggy and the length is too long as well. I am a very solid medium and 99.9% of the clothes I’ve ever tried on and this is at the very least a large. I’m very disappointed, as I was really looking for a severe weather rain coats. But I just can’t wear this

Fits Slightly Large; Good For Layering; Keeps You Warm While Also Blocking Rain
This is a large rain jacket from Arctix. It is on the heavy side and is more geared towards rain-proofing while also doing a bit of insulation, i.e. keeping you warm. I wouldn't consider this a "light weight" rain coat -- it has a bit of heft to it. For sizing, it fits slightly large. If you want to layer, then true-to-size works for average body types. If you don't want to layer, then you might want to size down. If you are larger then staying true-to-size may be the way to go. The material is a bit interesting -- it's not slick-feeling, but rather more like a gym-bag material. Overall it feels well made but it's a bit straightforward. There are no side hand pockets -- but there are two large front pockets that have some insulation in them. There are no inner pockets. The hood is nice and big, and the sleeves are quite long -- but there are snaps on the end to tighten them up around your wrist if needed. Overall, it's well made and a good rain coat for those who also want to keep slightly warm (think chilly not cold).
