Great boots!

Initially brought size 38EU (my usual size). was a mission to get them on as they are very narrow across the foot and eventually I gave up. Unable to return them as Amazon don't pay to send items back to US from NZ and there was no was I was paying $300 to courier them back! Lucky I have sold them on Trademe. Brought a second pair upsize EU39. These fit way better, very comfortable. Would suggest you go up a size if you have big feet (we all know what means). Arrived in a week from US to NZ

Nice boots, but returned

I ordered my normal size and they fit and were comfortable. I returned them because the boots arrived scuffed and the leather was scratched. The box arrived in a plastic bag but the boot box looked like it had been ran over! I wasn't about to keep a pair of $170 boots with a huge scuff on the top of the left boot. The left boot fit really snug compared to the right boot. I am guessing a received someone else's return. Disappointed to say the least. If they had arrived in good shape I would have kept them. Overall, I would love to have these boots but not from the seller I purchased them from!

High quality, fair price

These are very good boots. They didn’t arrive in the original box, but were well packed. At first they looked big, but I had trouble putting them on. Not having a lot of experience with cowboy boots, I was confused as to if they fit. I wear size 9 to 10 and wide. I got 9.5 wide, and after watching YouTube on how boots should feel ( they are not sneakers) I decided this was the right size. And get boot socks if you don’t have them already. I’m wearing the wrangler ones.

this is my second pair of ARIAT cowboy boots, the others were bought in like 2011 and lasted this long, they are still good actually just some damage on the back of the heels. Quality is solid. I have wide feet but I found the 6.5 wide to be a little too wide so I exchanged it for the regular width and while it is tight on the top of my right foot I am confident it will stretch and become comfortable with time, the boot is solid black, the thread is white but it is subtle and not distracting. the thread on front of boot is black. I strongly recommend this brand for anyone wanting cowboy boots, if you want to wear them a lot higher quality is a must.

The perfect boots

These boots are perfect out of the box. Love the color and style, super versatile and timeless style. I wore them out with the girls to break them in before my rodeo date but they were comfortable right out to the box. So happy with my purchase.

LOVE the BOOTS, However.......

OK, I've been shopping for these boots for over six months.... They're replacing a pair of Justin's I've worn for close to 10 years. Yeah, I like my boots. The ONLY reason I'm replacing my Justin's is because the sole's can't be replaced, and they are so slick, I was leaving the grocery with a full cart and was going down an incline, there was a truck coming who had no intention of stopping, and when I tried to stop, the soles of my boots just laughed and slid all the way down the parking lot. I LITERALLY almost got run over by the idiot who wouldn't stop! At that point I decided I MIGHT need to retire the Justin's. (BEGRUDGINGLY!) Well, I finally found the Ariat's (Couldn't find Justin's like what I had... ). EXACTLY what I wanted - same color, same EVERYTHING.... watched them for OVER six months to be sure.... (I'm a broke college student - $150 was a TON to put into new boots, even if I WAS going to wear them for 10 years (yeah, I hear you laughing.... so did my Dad)). I FINALLY ordered them and sat on the front steps every day waiting on the "Big Brown Dog (UPS)" to arrive. I about tackled him when he DID arrive..... Well..... he was late... by two days!!!! Wound up having to call Amazon to find out where my boots were. DISSAPOINTMENT #1. But I was SOOOOO ANXIOUS, I was forgiving (besides, I had already slobbered on the UPS guy, I had to make up for it!)..... so I continued to wait..... I felt like Ralphie getting his Red Rider B-B gun in The Christmas Story!!!! and I about ripped the box out of Mr. UPS's hands.... I went downstairs and unwrapped my new boots like a kid at christmas! Then when I opened the box, my eyes literally teared up..... The insides of the boots were not finished - meaning where the two sides of the leather (front and back) are brought together and stitched from bottom to top (south to north) it was a raw seam. For those who do not wear boots on a regular basis - this may not seem like a big deal. Anyone who wears boots knows exactly what I'm talking about. EVEN my Justin's had a finished seam on the inside, and I've always heard that Ariat's are supposed to be such a "better" brand than Justin..... Anyway - Long way to get to the bottom of the story - Ariat's are fine - fit great - look great - love them with the exception of the unfinished seam. Unfinished seam will Wear your socks, pull your socks down all day long, and rub your ankles - maybe not badly - maybe a lot - depends on the person, but this was a BIG deal to me. I was going to send them back, but it took me so long to find these, my Dad saw how heartbroken I was, he told me, "just keep them - if they don't work out, we'll get you something else!" Leave it to Daddy to make me feel better! Hope this helps!

Everything I hoped they would be and more!

These are true to size, and although structured, I was able to wear them for a 10-hour day right out of the box. The heel height is comfortable and supportive, the toe box was roomy, and they easily fit my athletic calves with room to spare. Great addition to my wardrobe & worth the price as they are simple and classic. I bought them from Amazon using the Try Before You Buy program as this has been easy for me to navigate in the past, & I knew I could return them if they didn’t work out.

Small to its size

I absolutely love the boots. They are beautiful and well made. Unfortunately I'm returning them as they are extremely small fit. I managed to put one on ...length wise it was ok but wide its extremely small despite the fact I have ordered wide boots. Unfortunately size bigger would be way too long

Just a beautiful as I expected!

My instep usually gives me problems with boots like these. But my foot slid right in, not loose, not tight. Can't wait to show them off!

It took a little bit more effort to break in but these boots did not disappoint. They are comfortable, smart looking and what I'd hoped for in a western boot
