Great fit, good looks

Not my favorite look in a boot but evidently must be a good look based on compliments. I actually prefer a smooth leather. But fit is good. I wouldn't say they're the most comfortable I've had but they're not bad. I walk 5 to 6 miles a day as super at a P&G plant addition. I can't say the bottoms of my feet don't hurt at the end of every day but I can say they hurt evenly across the bottom with no concentration in any part of my feet. Hey, 6 miles work boots on hard concrete 5 days week and you can't expect twinkle toes at the days in. It's been 2 months now and they've held up well. If they fail prematurely I'll update. I also might give inserts a shot as I've heard they can make a difference

One of my favorite boots

I started using them at work, and then I started using them outside of work. They became one of my favorite pair of shoes. Can barely feel the steel toe protection.

Good boots I suppose.

Along the way after a nasty sprain years ago I developed arthritis at the base of my left side, big toe. Which puts me into 9W. (I'm 56 and have a few miles on). These 9 EE's seem to be loosening up okay. I wear different socks on each foot, one thicker, one thin. Standing in line for two hours on a parking lot became uncomfortable, but not unbearable; I've worn these for about a month. Bottom line, I think they're pretty close, but not yet an all-day-on-your-feet kind of close, at least not yet.

Best Steel Toe Cowboy Boots

I couldn't find a retailer that had the Ariats I wanted, everyone was 6 months out of stock. I ordered these and the came in 2 days and fit just like my old boots!

Everything I expected in a boot

Beautiful boots, fits a bit larger then size as Ariats usually do. Once you break these guys in they are a joy to wear. I coated these with mink oil and they are very waterproof, I re-coat the seams and the toe monthly. This is what 2 months of civil construction in muddy/rough terrain looks like, my typical work boot lifespan is about 6 months and I’m sure these will be able to make the cut. Will probably be ordering again.
