Elegant

I bought an old brass lamp from a thrift store for $7. Added a lamp shade & this beautiful filial. The screw part of the filial attachs fine to the harp, but the construction of the actual filial is a little loose. It looks great & the looseness isn't that big of an issue. I love my bedside lamp now.

Nice, but the ball spins, not stuck on solidly.

The orange is a little brownish, which is okay. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

Not exactly what I expected

The globe color is perfect, just what I wanted, although it's a little smaller than I hoped. The base is not copper, it's ordinary brass, but I can change that. I'm not happy with overall height, but if I'm changing to a copper mounting I can make it the length I want. NOTE: the globe is mounted on a post, not screwed into the base, so it feels very loose, although it seems to be safely attached (I tried to pull it loose). Overall, it's 90% perfect, and it will only take 20 minutes to fix the rest.
