Use to seal dollar store birthday and Christmas card envelopes.

I usually buy birthday cards and Christmas cards at the local dollar store. The problem is that the glue on the envelopes is really bad and won't keep the envelopes sealed. Using this glue stick is better than slapping scotch tape on the flap to keep it closed.

No mess; good glue

These are easy to use, adhere paper to paper very well and distribute the adhesive evenly. There are never any lumps or clumps to ruin a smooth surface. Always my choice for my artwork.

Works well

The provides a pretty good grip when gluing papers together. It's easier to use & much less messy than liquid or gel glues.

Consistent with results

For some reason I prefer the smaller purple glue sticks though they cost a bit more. These work fine. I use them for multi-media collage mainly and have used this brand for years. It is clear and reliable. The only thing is if you twist the cap up too high, you will get a build up of glue around the sides so I try to only expose a tiny bit at the top as needed.

Bulk Pack - great for craft

My daughter uses this glue all the time for her craft. This sticks well for the paper-based craft she does, and it's non-toxic, easily usable, and easily washable. I'd buy again.

Great value

Like this adult-sized glue stick that is larger than the smaller purple glue sticks for kids.

Easy to use

I've always used the smaller Elmer's glue. But my sons teacher requested the large Avery white glue sticks for 2nd grade this year and it was difficult to find the large size but I'm glad I did! I got an extra one for our home and the kiddos love it. My 2.5 year old has no issues with the larger tube but she can't see where she put the glue because the Elmer's glue is purple when it's first applied. Other than that, it has a great hold and easy to use.

Works great

I haven't been able to find the Avery glue sticks at Walmart so I bought one here. Works great, easy to reposition before it dries. It's not as 'sticky' as the Elmer's purple glue stick and it's way less slippery than the Elmer's clear glue stick (which is really repositionable but doesn't have much grip till it dries). So if you need a medium sticky glue stick that you can still reposition, this is it.

Good glue!

This is a very good glue for doing things like sticking photos on card. Keep airtight when not in use and it lasts very well indeed.

great for 3d printer beds

Some 3d printer enthusiasts swear by the purple stuff, but all that generally does is mess up my bed. These ones get it done for me and are easy to clean up afterwards (just some soap and water).
