Super disappointed get some thing different

First off you’ll spend more time flipping the thing back on its wheels then driving it. Durability sucks broke rear lower control arm the first 5 mins had to order parts so a week later I got the part and broke front lower control arm. So I ordered it and a sway bar kit. That helped with the roll over a bit except in grass. This thing sucks in grass. Steering servo never returns to center. It’s all ways going a different direction instead of returning to center. So I have to turn the stability control all the way up. To get this damn thing to go in a straight line. Going to have to fork more money on a steering servo. I would never recommend this to any one. Really pissed off. For the money I spent. Over $500 I feel like a idiot for buying this thing. All ready spent over $200 in upgrades, repairs and batteries. I should of bought Losi Grave digger instead. I don’t even want to use the damn thing. I like to maintain and fix rc cars and trucks but this is ridiculous. I haven’t even run though one battery and this has happened.

Easy on the throttle

The media could not be loaded. Thing is crazy fast, invest in a sway bar or double rear shocks, screws tend to strip kinda easy but it’s super easy to repair and maintain.

Fun but a lot of brittle parts

Only had about 2 battery charges through this truck and lots of broken pieces. Drove it up and down some stairs and just around my yard. Nothing crazy. Rear 4 link rod end snapped and upon further inspection, found another snapped rod end and a bent shock. I was so excited for this truck but at this point, I would never spend the $500 on it. Nowhere near as durable as a rock bouncer should be. My team associated MT10 basher has been crashed at full speed many times, tumbled down hills in to trees, big jumps numerous times and after 2 years of ownership, I finally snapped a shock. The ryft is a huge let down build quality wise. All rod ends are plastic on the entire thing. Half of the bearings for the rod ends are plastic and half are metal. Why? Hopefully upgrading to metal hardware will make this truck what it should be

Ryft rock bouncer by Axial

This Axial Ryft is a great RC with 4S lipo--lots of torque and speed. Though it is a rock bouncer-- I drive it mostly in dirt and sand. The Super Swamper Bogger tires are great but NOT for crawling. If you are going to rock bounce it or crawl it or really bash the hell out of it --recommend you buy Pro-Line tires with bead lock rims and buy metal axle housings from VitaVon and metal side arms as the plastic ones tend to break easily when using all the torque to conquer rocks. For $499.99 withOUT lipo battery or charger --it is NOT a bargain but fun--fun--fun.

Expensive vehicle, amateur drivers beware, not for beginners

Nice vehicle, but way overpriced. And this rc is not for beginners either. It's not my favorite rc that I own, but I'm turning my RYFT into a crawler. I've got everything done to it to convert it over other than my portals and their supposed to be here by the end of the week. Then it might easily be my favorite vehicle.

It’s upside down, literally.

Very disappointed, the stability of the R/C sucks. Hope you like to walk to your car to put it right side up. Had pairing issues with the radio, front servo did not last two hours before it failed and needed replacement. A buddy of mine bought a Lasernut at the same time. It is hands down a far better, stable R/C compared to the Axial Ryft. Don’t spend your money on this.
