The Underside Of The Seat Not As East To Clean

Surprise, Surprise, Surprise, there are no images of the underside of the seat in this listing, so I attached one to this review. I had looked at other Bemis seats at a hardware store, but they did not have the Biscuit color that I needed. The underside of the seats that I looked at the store were flat and solid and had just two raised bearing points, so they were easy to clean. This seat has four bearing points and the seat is NOT flat on the underside, which makes it harder to clean with all the edges. Other then the underside of the seat, the seat is very nice. I purchased two seats one elongated and the other obround for two different toilets. Installation was very easy.

Not soft closing as described (edit)

I ordered this (renewed) with the expectation that this would be what I ordered, but this is not slow closing as advertised. I only gave it two stars as it was the right color and installation was easy enough. I already installed it before I realized it wasn’t soft closing so I don’t think I can return it. Edit: I was just messing with the hinge and kept pumping it up and down and for some reason it actually started to soft close. I guess it had to be primed or something. Changing my rating accordingly.

Very thin lid

Easy install, but…

I have used Delta slow close seats in the past and I like them a lot more, they seemed sturdier and the fit was better. The lid on this one isn’t as sturdy as I’d like and it doesn’t fit the bowl as well as the Delta. Good value for the price though. Love the easy off

Had to return did not fit

Had to return the item as it did not fit came from us site and can only assume their fittings are different did not align with holes in British toilet

Very nice product; high quality; color is perfect match; delivery was fast

Very high quality plastic and solid. Came with all parts and instructions. The color is perfect.........I suggest that you ensure the right color by finding the color code on your existing toilet (there are websites to help you). My toilet is 40 years old: American Standard "bone" (color #006) and the seat is EXACTLY the same color and matches perfectly. Very very happy with this purchase. And the delivery came in 24 hours.
