This leaf vac is a game changer!!!

No more raking leaves and trundling them around the yard in the wheelbarrow! We have a ton of oak trees and every Fall the leaves put a thick cover over every single flower bed and in every nook and cranny, even after the landscapers do the Fall cleanup. The Black & Decker leaf vac/mulcher has powerful suction that grabs leaves and small twigs, grinds them into a fine mulch, and lets me empty the bag in convenient locations around the yard. I've added the Black & Decker rake accessory as an aftermarket tool and this system has made yardwork a breeze. No more raking leaves and trundling them around the yard in a wheelbarrow, woohoo!!!

Where has this been all my life

I'm so happy with this. I'm a 5'2" 60 year old woman, I knew I had yard clean up to do and wondered if there was such a thing as a leaf vacuum. Lo and behold the marvelous machine exists! It cut my usual rake and shovel clean up by an hour and cut my bags down from an average of 15 bags down to 4.

Not only does this thing blow, But it really sucks as well. It can seem a bit cumbersome but it perform vcery well.

This works very well picking up leaves.

Leaves, some small sticks even some evergreen type needles, not great at it but give you an idea of suction. Still don't like carrying the bag. Glad to have one again.

Great Heavy Duty (air wise) corded Blower for doing my leaves

I wanted to get a heavy duty corded blower for doing my fallen oak tree leaves and just tried it today on my back yard and with the 250 mph blower made it easy to move the leaves around. Just get a nice heavy duty line cord to plug into the unit. I have 2 50ft line cords to extend out and get all my yard area (which is more than enough). They ask for a drying rating which is a does not apply for me, because I use it for moving my leaves in the fall. So I gave a rating of 4 - but rating does not mean anything in my usage. The unit with a supplied adjustable strap made it easy to carry/hold and move around to blow the leaves. They say it weighs about 8 pounds. Holding onto the blower, I can grab 2 handles on the unit to easily aim the blower. The noise it makes is not too loud for me and is not a high pitched sound, so it did not bother me while using. The unit was easy to assemble for doing blowing and did not use the one last end piece on the blower so to make the air cover a slightly larger/little more area. There is a video on the amazon buy item page to show the assembly steps which I watched even before I got the unit.. I did not try the vacuum yet which has a couple other/different attachments and permanent and disposable bags. I have so many leaves this time of year, that using the blower is my best choice, then I use a rake to pick them up, put into a container, and then roll it to the street. I would probably use the vacuum for small jobs if need be. All in all I like this heavy duty corded blower and makes it easier/faster for me to do leaves than my other 2 lightweight blowers I own. I didn't want to get a gas blower. Take care.

Mejor de lo que esperaba

Es muy potente y liviana , Como sopladora genial y como aspiradora mejor, lo que siempre uso como 8 bolsas de basura grandes use 1 quedan super molidas las hojas (huele delicioso mientras tritura las hojas de arbol de aguacate o limon) Las ramas y piedritas no afectan su funcionamiento mientras sean pequeñas ( las aspas son de metal) solo les advierto que en mi caso quede super llena de polvo, usen cubrebocas ,lei que era difícil el intercambio de accesorios pero no es verdad, solo que si hace falta alguna llave o un objeto para quitar la tapa de las aspas y poner el tubo de la aspiradora trae una bolsa negra rehusable y 2 bolsas blancas desechables digo esto por que en la descripción no especifican, lo que limpiaba como en 2 horas lo hice como en media, pero insisto prepárense para quedar como rata de panadería, tal ves fue por ser la primera vez que la uso y había tierra entre las hojas. PD Le doy 4 estrellas por que la caja llego rota y parecía como si hubiera sido abierta antes estaba pegada con cinta.

Not for shorter people

I would return mine if I could. Quite awkward to work with if you are not a tall masculin guy as it can cause shoulder injury. The amount of the dust coming out of the bag is beyond expectation. Must wear a heavy duty mask. Not for shorter people or women shorter than 5.6 to 5.9.

Easy Yard Cleanup

This machine did everything the descriptor said it would do. I quickly blew all the leafs in my yard into a pile and then switched the machine to suck them up. It sucked them into the included shoulder bag with ease and decreased the leaf volume substantially. The zipper on the bag allowed me to empty them into my compost area.

It takes a little time to change over to vacum . Best to make a pile and vacum all at once .

This blower is amazing . I have a battery blower that I'm not going to mention the brand , but it wouldn't blow the candles out on a birthday cake . I have a fenced yard , and I can corral the leaves in one corner very easily where I can vacum them without a hitch . I highly recommend this unit

Works well

Item came right on time. Have only used it once but good so far. We have a huge maple tree and our climate is very wet. Blower worked great. Like the concentrated nozzle accessory for a more direct blow. The vacuum did pick up and mulch the wet leaves but I wouldn't expect it to do all the leaves. Think it would over heat for the amount we have.
