Sometimes you just need to buy OEM.

Before my OEM spool ran out, I purchased an "eight pack" of aftermarket spools which included two (2) covers and springs for $15. They were listed specifically for my B&D LSTE525 trimmer. The line would not advance no matter how many of them I tried, I had to keep popping off the cover and pulling line out. I just bought these B&D spools, popped one in, and it immediately fed line. The moral is aftermarket may be cheaper but isn't always the right decision. The covers work though.

Perfect Fit

Fits and is easy to install - just drop it in. A bit pricey but this 2-pack was cheaper than a single roll.

simple and easy

these are easy to put on and use, I do go through them kind of quick, so not so inexpensive in that regard. But I stick with it for ease of use

What a life saver!

We were just ravaged by days of relentless rain, it was awful waiting and waiting for the clouds to part and for the sun to bring hope back to the world. I flashed back to memories of the floods of Noahs time, but God promised he would never do that again. My faith went through some trials in this storm. As soon as the sun broke through that glorious morning i know it was time to head out into the new world to search for survivors. As i stepped onto my front steps I found myself face to face with some of the tallest brush I had ever encountered. It was 10 feet tall if it was a foot. Unable to see past the brush I knew something had to be done. Time is everything in emergency and survival. Burning the brush was no option, our house would surly become engulfed in flame. Loosing hope, we made it through the storm but now to die in the aftermath of the storm surges grass growth. Suddenly it hit me like a " straight kick from a muay thai light weight kickboxer" I ran to my junk drawer where i keep emergency supplies, bithday candles and junk mail. I had this very Black and Decker spool unsed for a situation such as this. I grabbed the weed eater down from its place of glory, mounted above our fireplacr. I popped in the spool and headed out. The weed eater was born for this and the spool cut through grass with the same agression and confidence Chuck Norris must have. Turns out the world didn't end, my yard looks awesome, and I have a lunch meeting with Chuck Norris on Tuesday. Very pleased with this purchase.

I like how you can just pop them in and then pull the cord and then cap it. I’m retired and I need things easy for me ????

It works. Little to no problems.

There was a slight problem with installation. The wire likes to unwind all of a sudden. I learned that the hard way and had to rewind it. My suggestion is to keep your finger or thumb on the wires before you pull out its end until you've fully install the spool. This could be a bit tricky and annoying, but bare with it. I'd knock out a star over it, but really, all I needed from it was to work with my trimmer in auto feeding. These replacement spools works as good as the one that originally came with my trimmer. Installation might be a bit tricky, but it does what it needs to do when installed properly and all the parts of the trimmer are all working.

Can,t miss with OEM

Used these refills for my 20v cordless trimmer rather than rewiring the used spool which I usually did with all my other trimmers. While cost effective it was always a pain and since this is an automatic feed trimmer rather than a bump feed I felt for best performance this was a better way to go

Was a bit skeptical if the would fit, but they did. Great fit and seems to work fine. The LST 210 wasn't on the list of trimmers that would fit these, but nevertheless, great fit and works great.
