Perfect field school trowel

This was a great trowel for my archaeology field school! It worked well, was durable, the size was great (not awkward to use) and is fairly priced. If you are worried about sharpness, you can buy a trowel/shovel sharpening tool!

Poor quality

When peeling the barcode sticker off, either the sticker removed some of the coating on the metal, leaving the metal unprotected, or it was a fault at the factory that was intentionally covered up by the sticker. Either way, the bare metal is now exposed and prone to oxidation. Given that this trowel is meant for digging in dirt, that is not a good thing.
