It is a big heavy (16" and 2.5 lbs. Are you kidding?) and in my opinion much too big to be practical.

This will do the job of lifting a sheet of drywall. In fact it could probably lift a small car. To be sure it is a big heavy(16" and 2.5 pounds are you kidding?) and in my opinion much too big to be practical. My fault for not looking at the specs. I'm used to using a small 7" pry bar which I also use to lift refridgerators and large furniture for adjustment but it is awkward for drywall because of its shape. I thought this panel lifter would work well but again it is not something you can put in your belt pouch. If it were about a third the size it would be great but as is the only use it might get would be as a car jack to change a flat tire on my truck. ;) The MARSHALLTOWN The Premier Line 790 has a more thoughtful design, though still a bit too big. Would be great if it had a hook that latched to your tool belt. It is light aluminum, 1 lb., 12 " long, and it has a toe handle so that you can move it into position without bending over.
