Deer in the Headlights is so much fun!
We always buy a new game to play during Christmas break. 2022, we chose this game. It was so much fun. We chose well! And we're still playing it. The game was easy to learn, and just enough competition to make it interesting. Takes about an hour to play. Basically, the game uses regular playing cards with a unique set of dice, and a really creative method of play. I highly recommend it for good family fun.

Great game, some luck required, bad luck for me getting a used copy from Amazon.
Ordered this after my sister showed off her copy. Fun game, combination of a rummy-like game with dice throws. Roll the dice and what you roll determines what you can drop from your hand. The bummer is I got a used copy. It appears all the cards are present, box is broken in one corner. One deck was shuffled a bit and one deck not shuffled. Overall, very happy to have my own copy. The fact that I got a used copy is really a bummer.

Fun, fun, fun
This game is easy to learn, and has become one of our favorite games. I took one star off because the developers failed to included cards with the different combinations on them, and the printing is so small in the instructions, that I'm unable to read the combinations. We will be making our own so that everyone can see what the combinations mean.

Great game
Family and I have had a great time playing the game. Easy to learn for all ages. Starts a bit slow at the begining, but starts to get more exciting as you play.

My family got it as a gift and we played it and fell in love. Since then we have purchased it multiple times to gift to other families. It’s a game you can play from 4 years old to 104.

Clarification of one rule/ play
The combination of two numbers plus a running deer is actually a game Ender with all your cards going into Center pile. Is that the intention? The game should come with extra copies of list Of the dice rolls and corresponding card plays. I had to photo copy. The game is fun for just two, can’t wait to play with the gang.

Fun, Frustrating, Challenging
Our family plays this card game quite often and enjoy it very much. Game can be short as one round or last for several depending on the roll of the dice. Timing of the 3 deer can make for a quick game and other rolls can extend the game. Also depends on how many play as to how the cards come up.

Great game for everyone.
This is a great game for mostly adults, as you need to hold quite a few playing cards in your hand, depending on how many is playing. Easy to learn and ideal for social nights with friends and family. A nice change.
