I started to begin pressure washing my driveway but this fine piece of equipment had other ideas
I received this pressure washer a week before I was able to use it due to inclement weather. A week later to the day, I TRIED to pressure wash my driveway and sidewalk. From the beginning, it did not want to work. Plugged it in, green light on GFCI plug was lit up, the pump did not work. Changed electrical receptacles and same result. All hoses were connected correctly, no kinks in water supply line. Finally after slightly tilting back 45 degrees, I heard the pump kick on with a faint electrical hum. I was able to use the pressure washer for about 20 minutes before I needed to move locations. As soon as I moved it, it stopped working. Again, I changed receptacles to no avail. I tried leaning it back at 45 degrees again, nothing. I tripped the GFCI switch on the cord and powered it off and on several times, still nothing. I turned off the water to the supply line, disconnected everything, then reconnected everything and it worked long enough to pressure wash my sidewalk; a 3.5' X 20' area. After I was finished with my sidewalk, I started to begin pressure washing my driveway but this fine piece of equipment had other ideas. As soon as I moved it, you could hear the faint hum of the pump stop. It didn't work again after that. From the hours of 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM I spent more time toying with it than using it. Six hours it took me to pressure wash 70 square feet. I'm opting to have it replaced as I understand sometimes a defective product skips through QA standards. I'm hoping that the replacement does a better job. I will say that I was not impressed with the pressure for the 45 minutes that it actually worked. Update: I received my replacement and it worked just fine. It did shut off on me a time or two but to be fair, it was extremely hot outside and I had been using it for hours, roughly 10. Aside from that it did exactly what it was supposed to. I will give accolades to the seller for a quick replacement and quite possibly the easiest return of all time.

Works well and easy to use.
It was used for leaning cement drive way and cleaning mildew from siding. Very pleased with the results. Did a great job.

Works Great!
I finally broke down and bought a pressure washer, and wanted to get an electric one so I wouldn't have to mess with gas and the maintenance. Knowing that I wanted to do some tough jobs, like cleaning my driveway, I wanted to get a system with a lot of pressure. This electric power washer definitely did the trick. I used the high pressure setting on the 15 degree spread, and while I had to hold it close to the driveway, it actually got off the tire marks and crud across a path several inches wide instead of just a line The adjustable nozzle is nice—it makes it very easy to change the spray to adapt to what you want to do. I don't have the greatest water pressure in the world and was concerned about not having enough flow, but everything worked out just great. While the sound isn't exactly soothing to work by, it certainly isn't too loud for doing a long project like a driveway. The only thing that I would like to see improved is the flexibility of the hose—it is a bit too stiff and makes handling it a bit cumbersome at times. I would strongly recommend this unit.

Terrible company, does not honor the warranty.
Purchased this in feb 2023. Used it twice. The second time the brass fitting that holds the sprayer to the wand blew apart and the sprayer went flying across the driveway. Now I have a two month old $250 pressure washer that is useless. The Briggs and Stratton company tells me to take it to a local dealer and the local dealer won’t honor the warranty. The local dealer had the gall to tell me ‘in his opinion’ it looked as if I had dropped the wand hard on the ground and broken it. Stay away from all Briggs and Stratton products.

It's very well made and well-designed.
An earlier pressure washer I owned made me realize what I wanted in a good one. This one is made with strong metal fittings, breaks down to a small size for storage with a proper place for each part, and DOESN'T TIP OVER when standing or being used. It has a long water hose and a long electric connection. The choices for type of spray are many, and the ability to have more GPM shortens any job. We've used it to clean a very dirty brick/tile patio, including mildew-like stains, as well as cleaning out the channels in expansion joints in the driveway. It can spray long distances because of the 3.5 high GPM. Finally, the motor doesn't get hot and shut off, like some other brands. We really love it. The only disadvantage was the customer service at Briggs & Stratton. We'd made a mistake and thought it wasn't working because we didn't let it warm up enough when first using it. (That should be made clearer in the manual.) The representative told us to take it to a local repair shop, when in fact they only repair gas-powered ones. Electric ones are just replaced if there's anything wrong with them.

It worked GREAT the first day
Five stars for the first day only. It worked GREAT the first day. The next day it wouldn't shut down and built up pressure until I almost couldn't pull the trigger then the pump would shut down as if overloaded. After pulling the trigger (very hard) it let out a scary amount of pressure then just the flow from the hose - no pump pressure. So clearly something was wrong. My return period on Amazon had already run so I guess I have a problem - but I have not raised the issue with Amazon yet so I am not complaining about that. I called Briggs & Statton's customer service line. After giving them all kinds of personal information, then the serial number, they asked where I bought it. When I told them I got it at Amazon they put me on hold. When they returned they told me that because I bought it at Amazon they would not help me. Period. I wasn't even asking about the warranty or anything, I just wanted to see if there was some simple solution to the problem.

Know what you want before buying
I have a 3000 PSI gas unit already but found it too aggressive for most uses other than concrete cleaning. This unit will do 90% of what the gas unit does and is much easier to cart around, the reach of the spray is good and the high flow settings will soak and rinse much quicker than the narrow higher pressure settings. Its very quiet compared to the gas unit and I don't feel like I've had the crap hammered out of me by the time I've done the task at hand, overall I'm pretty much satisfied with its performance and would recommend it.
