"Almost" exact replacement part

The fit is a bit off - maybe a tiny bit smaller because it has some shimmy after installation. Also, noticed now, after a few weeks of use, the temp screen is starting to fog up....will watch closely.

Solid replacement for a broken indicator

Our original one broke, no idea how it happened, but it did. The rear nut came off and the indicator fell and broke. This one I made sure to Loctite on the thread/nut while installing. Should last a lot longer.

My original thermometer fell apart. This is an identical replacement; showing the same temperature for the same settings. The mechanical fit to my grill is perfect.

Do Not Buy - Grossly Inaccurate

Do not buy this item, it is grossly inaccurate! When the probe is placed boiling water, it shows 280 degrees... 70 degrees above actual. Using this will result in under-cooked food from your BBQ.

Worth buying and keeping in reserve!

Fits Broil King, Broil-Mate and Sterling BBQ grills. Purchased for my mother-in-law's BBQ after the heat gauge on her model broke. Super easy to install, was very reasonably priced and works like a charm. She's beyond thrilled with it and I'm now the Daughter-in-Law of the Week.

Adapté à mon bbq. Plus pratique que davoir l'aiguille tombé dans le bas du thermomètre de l'original. Est ce qu'il est précis? Aucune idée, cela n'est pas mon but.

Come on Broil king. You can do better!

I have gone through 3 of these so far. One lasts about 2 years if you’re lucky. The next time I have to replace it, I’ll be buying a better quality one and ditching the broil king logo.

Je ne l’ai pas installé encore mais c’est pour cette utilisation cette appareil ne venait pas avec un indicateur de température ( j’ai pas dû payer assez cher pour qu’il en installe un???????
