Not as big as advertised

The product title says that it has a 17-inch laptop sleeve but this is not true! I wanted a much bigger backpack than this. It’s not a bad backpack, the product listing is just inaccurate and misleading.

Great For Air Travel, Needs a Sternum Strap, Holds a 15 inch Laptop

I was having a difficult time replacing my worn out Mountain Hardware traveling backpack which I use as my "personal item" on commercial aircraft, placing it under the seat. I stumbled upon this backpack which is a great replacement. The title is misleading as the description is that this holds a 15 inch laptop, not a 17 inch laptop. So the the "laptop" fits behind the main cargo area with a side zipper. I don't carry a laptop here. Instead I put "flops"" for long trans-Atlantic flights. The main cargo area will hold my clarinet case and a compact digital camera. The front two pockets will hold electrical gear, readers and consumables. There is a key keeper inside the bottom pocket. The side pockets will hold a "disposable" water bottle which I re-use and fill inside the airport once past security. The bottom of the backpack is a water resistant plastic. The back of the pack is padded and provides for some air circulation. There is a strap on the back of the backpack which is meant to hold the backpack on a rolling suitcase (see photo). So almost a perfect, for traveling, under the seat backpack, _except_ there is no sternal strap. I have ordered two styles of after market sternal straps to remedy this deficit.
