Best Work Gloves I've Used

I put these gloves to work in 0 degree weather (much lower with wind chill) and was able to stay out for quite a while. Hard to say exactly how long they'd last if I were to stay outside the whole day, because I was in and out for my project. Regardless, I'm impressed with their effectiveness and they're the warmest work gloves I've used. I should have ordered a size lower, but saw that some buyers reported that they fit a bit small so I ordered a size up. (Just go with your normal size and it should fit like a glove...)

Seems to run quite small.

Too small, wound up giving them away. Took the time to measure my hands and everything but they were still to small.

Lightweight Well Insulated

These run snug, I am wearing the Medium size and you can work them in as long as the fingers are long enough. Nice reinforcement across the palm, double leather between thumb and forefinger aid in protecting when line handling or ax and hammer work. Much lighter in weight than expected which makes me wonder if the leather will last, but seems good so far. The leather coverage stops right at the wrist while the elastic fabric continues, very helpful in keeping wood shavings and other debris out of the gloves. Great for winter outdoor work, I'm pretty satisfied and would recommend them. Great protection for knuckles and palms right where it counts. If you wear large normally, get x-large. I should have purchased a large instead of medium. But as I mentioned, leather will conform to your hand over time.

Love these gloves

Love these gloves. If you are handling wood during the winter, these are absolutely needed. They do just come bare leather, so I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND using some kind of wax based waterproofing (Pecard Leather Dressing) on them. As a side note, the left hand ring finger was a little tight compared to the right hand, but I am sure each glove is different. It was not bad enough to return them, and I am sure they will get better over time. As for the waterproofing, I would recommend

Good gloves, run small

Good gloves, but they run small. I had to return my first pair because they were too small. Got XL and they are still a bit small! One of the fingers, the thumb I think, is too long. But all in all they are comfortable and flexible. Not super thick leather, but adequate for light work and general warmth.

Happy with it.

I bought it because I like the tight cuff around the wrist. I bought medium, which is normal for me, but it is a bit too small. So if you get it, you might consider size bigger than what you buy usually.
