Nice non-ski cold weather gloves

I gave these a size-runs-small - but let me explain. By the sizing guide at Carhartt.com, my palm measures about 8” to 8-1/4” in circumference - on the margins of a small to medium. My fingers are fairly slender and long at 7-1/2” from where my hand (palm side) bends at the wrist to the tip of my longest finger. I bought the large size because I generally wear large gloves due to the finger length, and let’s just say that if OJ had been wearing these, it would have been an instant conviction. So, with the measurements above, these gloves in large are a comfortable but snug fit around the hand, and the finger length is dead-on across my thumbs and all eight fingers. I’d normally prefer an extra 1/8 to 1/4” in finger length for ski gloves, but as work gloves for the cold, the snugger fitment is probably best in most circumstances. Finally - the photos suggest there the black are tri-color. They’re actually just black - different fabrics but all black. Overall - great gloves, just size-up accordingly.
