I absolutely LOVE this hair dryer!

Best Dryer I've ever owned! Now thats a lot of hair dryers cause I'm older then most of you! The CHI 1875 Series Advanced is Ionic & compact. The drying power is great & has the 2 switches you really want. One for heat & the other for Air flow. This Dryer was on display @ ULTA for $40 dollars more then I paid here! I'm buying another for travel as its small & lihgt weight! ....I even like that it's RED!....

This dryer is really attractive and lightweight, but it definitely doesn't deliver 1875 Watts of power as listed in the specifications. Really a major disappointment. If you want your hair dried quickly, this dryer for the cost is seriously no better than what you can obtain at your local retailer.

Light weight was my primary need

I use it with the diffuser. I needed something that would be light weight enough for my bad neck and shoulder to manage. I don’t use it for long periods, so I can’t say how it would be for an entire drying session, but it is great for my use.
