Warm, Cozy, much loved washable wool

The size small sweater with red hearts has worked out well for a longer bodied female 13.5 lb short single layer fur mixed breed. It is a little short on her longer back, but after wearing for awhile it stretches and gives her good coverage. She is very sensitive to having clothes on. Though she was at first suspicious of the new sweater (photo attached is her unsure face right after I put it on her), she quickly realized how much better this sweater is than the synthetic. Now I just ask her in the morning if she wants her sweater on and she comes right over and even puts her feet in the leg holes and looks happy about it! With her old sweater I would have to go to her and put it on with while she grudgingly complied, acted like she was half dead, and wasn't too happy. She loves her sweater as she is more sensitive to cold than her brother. She has a smaller chest and longer neck so this mock turtle neck style works great with her body type.

Whew! Ordered the right size!

After reading so many reviews for many of the Chilly dog sweaters, I was afraid the Small size would be wrong for my 11.5lb pup, but his sweater fits perfectly! Not too snug, but not too big either. Beautifully made, too. She’s camera shy, but you can see how well it fits her.
