Comfortable once they're on

They're very comfortable once worn. However there difficult to put on as the opening is small and the elastic stretch length is short.

Change in craftsmanship

My brother had worn Clark’s for 10 years, but the new loafers have a shorter inset of elastic (compared to his previous Clark’s) which allow you to slide your foot into the shoe. In the larger size that he wears, this shorter elastic makes it impossible to get his foot into the shoe. This was true of both styles of new Clark’s that we ordered. He’s very unhappy because he has been a long time customer of Clark’s.
