Feels good to my tactile hypersensitive kiddo

My 8yo daughter hates most clothes and shoes. I purchased this for her because the inner jacket is soft and warm as opposed to a nylon. She hates putting those kinds of jackets on because she can't stand to feel how cold it is until it warms up. She has worn this a lot, with and without the waterproof outer shell. She says she loves it! I would have preferred the pink liner to be a darker pink so that it wouldn't show dirt along the cuffs so quickly, but she actually wears it!! So I can't complain. It's easy to zip in and out of the waterproof outer shell. I love that it is waterproof. It held up to the late winter/early spring temps here in Arkansas...but I haven't had a chance to try it out in the cold of winter. I purchased a size up in medium. She is a small 8yo...49" tall and 55lbs. The medium is big on her, but she isn't swamped in it. I bet it will fit for the next two winters.

a high quality and pretty snow jacket

This is a very pretty jacket. My daughter loves it. I bought small size for her. She's 8, 47'' high and 48lb. The jacket is a bit big on her. But that's what I wanted. She can still wear it this year. And I hope it can last two more snow seasons. (Hope she does not grow too fast. :-P ) The color is not red and navy blue as shown on the picture. It's hot pink and dark grey. But it's perfect to match our hot pink snow pants. (I worried it's too red and not to match the pants. But it's a perfect match!) The interior is super soft. But it's not too thick. I hope it can keep my daughter warm at 10-20F. Have not tested it at that low temperature since we are in southern California. The reason I give 4 stars because this jacket does not have a snap-away powder skirt system or string which can tighten the bottom. I am afraid wind will get in if it's too windy when we ski. Hope that's not a big issue.

I love it!!!

I like the jacket! I love that the inner lining can stand alone as a sweater jacket. The shell is great quality ????. That waterproofing is EVERYTHING. It will fit my 3 year old girl for a long time with the grow feature. It's a little big now but that's good! She grows so fast and is on the taller side. The jacket is pretty too. Love the color scheme! So happy with our purchase!

Cute idea but very stiff and uncomfortable

I really wanted to love this jacket but we are only able to use the inside fleece as the outer jacket is far too stiff and uncomfortable for my kid. We kept it but will never use the outer portion of jacket, so that’s a waste and it was way over priced for the quality.

Fabulously warm jacket!

Very well made, high quality fabrics. This jacket seems like it will be VERY warm. Love that it is versatile and the inside layer is SO SOFT! I am returning it for a smaller size because the medium was GIANT on my 9 year old, otherwise amazing coat and well worth the money!
