Great Overall!

Love the lightweight with the warmth of the coat. Lg runs big but not too big. My husband likes to wear bulky sweaters in cold weather and it’s perfect for that!

A great winter coat

Warm enough for Minnesota winter and plenty of pocket space. Definitely a good purchase

If you need a heavy coat this is a really good choice.

This coat is recommended for those who are planning on experiencing weather that is 30 degrees or below. For my instance I selected a size which allows for additional layers to be worn underneath which is always suggested. Bottom line just a dependable heavy coat for when your in the elements.

Great winter jacket!

We live in Minnesota and are occasionally prone to negative temps in the winter. Got it to replace husband's old Columbia shell jacket which was getting a bit old. We decided on a parka this time to keep him extra warm and he really loves it. Very comfy and warm.

The wormth

XL fits 6’2” 230lb man just right.

Perfect fit for my frame (6’2” 230lb male). Fits shoulders well, doesn’t look too baggy with only a t shirt, but still leaves just enough room to wear a thick mid-layer underneath for extra cold conditions. Quality is good, details all feel right and zippers work well. 2 spacious front exterior pockets with flap closures, one hidden zippered inside chest pocket, and TWO sets of very large horizontal hand pockets: low and high. Hood can be cinched down snugly with internal cord, and back Velcro fits it to the shape of the head. Faux fur lining can be unfolded to provide a nice collar liner to keep neck warm when worn back, or an extended snow/rain shield when worn overhead. Fur can also be zipped off, but I don’t know why I would. Bottom can be cinched with cords below waist, and sleeves have Velcro to snug at the wrists. OmniHeat cover chest and back, but not sleeves or sides, so underarms don’t overheat and sweat. I was a bit hesitant to buy the olive green color, as it looks pretty brown in photos, and it is a LITTLE brown, but still green enough to fit my autistic requirements for olive green.

PERFECT AND AMAZING

I live in Alaska, as you can tell .. the weather during the day is below -30 degrees. Now during the night its even worse, soo this jacket comes in clutch, i usually wear just a t-shirt under the jacket and it keeps me warm in all hours of the day ... 100% would recommend!

Warm coat

fits well and is warm

Good only for warmer winter temperature.

I used this in Iqaluit, Canada during winter, it's NOT warm at all. I had to switch to my old and reliable parka. Winter in Iqaluit is very harsh -70 with wind chill. This is good for milder winter weather.

Poor fit

For a size large this coat is cut horribly. Seems to be made for men with a massive beer belly. As a result, it's not warm at all. Very disappointing, especially since I have a Columbia rain jacket in the same size that fits perfectly. I am 5'11 and 200lbs.

Would not recommend

This coat isn’t as warm as advertised, need to wear a sweater or hoodie under it on colder days. The zipper is also hard to use, it is difficult to get it zipped. It was on sale but still not worth the money paid for it. I wouldn’t recommend it

Good value for warm coat

Appears well made, good fit for sizing , though not as warm as I would like. I use it til -10 c after that still need a real down coat.
