It IS cotton! Label says 98% cotton.
The description for this shirt said it was I forget how much polyester, but the label on the shirt says, as another reviewer mentioned, "98% cotton, 2% elastane." So the label is more accurate. I don't say "actually accurate" because the label also mentions a "mesh lining," and as far as I can tell, there is no mesh lining in this flannel shirt. It comes out of the wash (I line dry) looking good enough for Flannel Friday at work. Docking one star because it is for women but not shaped much. The side-seams are curved, but it is still a pretty boxy fit. Not like square, unnattractive boxy, but not feminine, either.

It is cotton, but it is NOT FLANNEL
I have been attempting to purchase a few cute, colorful flannel shirts for the upcoming frigid Colorado winter. Unfortunately, like many other Amazon sellers, I have purchased shirts from, this seller has failed miserably with the fabric description. I bought two of these shirts, and other than appearing to look like a traditional plaid flannel shirt, the fabric is NOT flannel. This cotton shirt is a thin, flat weave. It is not soft, fuzzy, and warm like real cotton flannel. So, sellers, please, please stop describing every plaid button-down as flannel! PLAID ≠ FLANNEL! Plaid is a pattern; flannel is a type of cotton fabric! It really should not have to be explained! Although frustrated and disappointed by misleading claims about the fabric, I begrudgingly gave two stars because the Nova Pink and Canyon Blue Multi are very pretty, making it all the more disappointing that I have to send the shirts back. :( If you want a true cotton flannel, head over to Old Navy. They may not have the best color selection, but they offer a genuine cotton flannel that is warm, cozy, and affordable.
