Looks like snow boots...smell like new tires

Seriously what is with the lingering chemical smell ? They look like snow boots ( or so my friends say) and have that chemical smell. At least the keep my feet dry in the rain, and the sole provides a pretty good grip on most urban surfaces ( except maybe freshly waxed wet tile floors.) Fit runs as expected, for me at least. I don't wear heavy / thick socks, so if you do it might be a bit tight.

These are great they fit there no lace boots which I like but in order for them to be safe they are tight at the opening to make sure they stay on properly. They look great and as far as them not being of Columbia build quality that's bs I own alot of Columbia stuff this is just as well made . Put it this way I did try before you buy because of my awkward size 12.5 wide I got 6 different pairs to make sure I got a fit and quality I liked they were the best better the skechers better then keen better then the reboks try them u will like them true to size
