Light, Comfortable, Plenty of Pockets but belt is worthless

I've been looking for a good pair of lightweight shorts for camping and Columbia's well-known brand did not disappoint. Well, not entirely. the shorts are in a great camo pattern, have plenty of pockets and are really quite comfortable. I paid a little more because of the quality known to exist with Columbia's outdoor clothing line. One feature I liked about these over other less expensive shorts is the included and removable belt. this is where my satisfaction faulters. The first time I wore these shorts I was camping and had a medium sized hunting knife on this included belt. all was well until I sat down. that's when the cheap plastic buckle failed, dropping my knife and then my shorts off my hips. I removed the knife thinking that it was its weight that contributed to this failure, only to find that it broke loose again as soon as I took a seat. Still moderately happy with my purchase because the belt is removable and it will soon be replaced with a quality canvas model from REI, which will probably cost as much as I paid for these shorts.

Nice shorts perfect fit to normal size.

Love this shorts got them for my husband this Christmas. Size 36 was big on him he needs one size down. They fit very accurate to normal size. This are very thin material, so it’s perfect for the hot weather here in Fl. I was able to get another pair in another store. The blue ones are very nice too and fitted perfect. I love the way they fitted on my husband.

great shorts

Great shorts from Columbia. This is my 3rd or 4th cargo shorts from Columbia and I am never disappointed. I like the off camo color of these shorts and have rec'd several compliments as well. lightweight, easy fit and comfortable and they don't rid up. I am very pleased with them overall and they fit just as expected. Would purchase again in the future.

Very high quality shorts! Run a little small though!

Very nice lightweight shorts, dry quickly as well! Mine were a little tighter than the same pair I bought a year ago. Seems about a size 32 and it’s a 34 runs small apparently and it might be due to the elastic bands sewn in each side. Probably should of ordered a 35, 36. Still nice though!
