Short arms, crinkly, not water resistant

Well, I ordered it to be a rain jacket. It’s some sort of noisy stiff cotton blend, soaks water right in. Also a strange disconnect between body size and sleeve length. As per usual, designers believe all larger size women are short and round with stubby arms. I have wide shoulders and hips, a tiny waist, and long arms and legs, so yeah, I’m never finding a rain jacket :(

Lightweight spring/summer jacket

Normally Columbia fits small but not this one. I'm a Penningtons 3-4X and this is 3X was roomy enough for a heavy sweater underneath. It doesn't repel water for more than a few seconds so it's a fair weather jacket. Good cut, fun patterns (not so boring as the solid colors). Really like the shirttail bottom and double ended zip. Will most likely buy another one in a 2X for when you don't need to layer under it.
