Buy it!

I saw this originally on another site and wanted it, and then spotted it on here for a better price. I'm so glad I decided to buy this. It is beautiful and a very strong, quality product. Rolls great and I just couldn't be happier! Might get a second one for my laundry room :)

I really wanted to like these but...

I bought one of these to try, and liked it well enough, and bought 3 more. I now regret it. Pros: They look great. Just about the perfect size (when full, it is about a full load of laundry). The wire basket part itself is strong/sturdy. Cons: Three out of my four baskets do not roll smoothly nor in a straight line; as I pull them along, they roll out to the sides, banging into the doors/trim of my brand new house. If I push them instead of pull them, same problem - they roll all over the place and are hard to control; a couple wheels don't roll smoothly at all. For this price, there shouldn't be a quality problem. The wheels aren't big enough to easily roll over the threshold between wood and tile floors, so I have to lift it up as I cross. (The threshold a normal size, IMO.) The inside of the metal basket is smooth; however, clothes can be hooked/caught on the outside metal where it is bent over the top wire. They are too short to easily roll around the house. I'm 5'7", and I have to stoop over to pull them along. When you couple that with the fact that they don't roll straight (see above), they are really kind of a pain to get from one side of the house to the other. The holes are big enough for small items (especially socks to fall through). So I always have to make sure that the item on the bottom is something bigger (like a t-shirt) to act as a "floor" for other items. These aren't cheap, and I'm bummed that I spent so much $$ on 4 baskets that I now don't like. Live and learn.... They are pretty, so I'll re-purpose them to hold throw blankets or something.

Great baskets...They cost more than what I wanted to spend, but you get what you pay for! The wife wanted something better than a laundry sorting hamper with 4 cloth bags. We found these and ordered one. The day it arrived I went right to Amazon and order two more. I'll probably pony up the money and purchase a 4th. The wife loves these...they roll around very nicely. She is able to use it also at a tray to set traditional plastic laundry baskets on top for fold from to counter. With a family of 6 these work awesome. Not cheap and will last a long time with proper use. I highly recommend purchasing!

I bought this wonderful sturdy wire roll-around bin to hold the very many long rolls of Holiday and Occasions wrapping paper. I am currently designing a hanger to accommodate my large rolls of ribbon to attach to this great bin. Be advised that if you put in rolls of wrapping paper, the bottom of the bin bill only keep the stoutest rolls from falling through. I put a thin sheet of aluminum in the bottom and it holds ALL my wraps now. Love this!
