Smells great, leaves my face feeling dry
Smells awesome, really cleans my face, but I have to put lotion on after the shower because my face feels so dry. They have the best scents out there though.

A great smelling dual-purpose wash, but it might depend on what you are looking for
I've used a few different beard washes over the past several years. The most recent prior to this one was Cremo Thickening Beard Wash, so this review might end up as more of a comparison between the two. The scent of the thickening wash was fine, just never really did anything for me. I guess I really liked the wash despite being so-so about the smell. Definitely didn't smell bad. Just non distinct. I smelled the Distiller's Blend fragrance at a local big box store - they didn't have the wash but had another product I could at least smell. I really liked it. So when I saw this on Amazon, I wanted to try it in hopes that it would be a similar consistency and offer a similar wash to my other Cremo beard wash but in a fragrance that I really liked, and also be versatile to use as a face wash. It checks almost all of the boxes and is a solid product for what it is. The only thing I don't love about it is that it is much more runny/thin than the thickening wash- and really any other beard or hair shampoo I've used. In order to get the same amount of lather throughout my beard (I'd describe my beard as "medium thick") I have to use at least twice the amount. In the end, it definitely leaves my beard feeling clean and smelling great, and I've used it as face wash on occasion and it does the trick (I regularly use a medicated face wash - benzoyl peroxide- to treat oily skin induced adult acne, but I don't like to use it more than once a day, so it's nice to have another option). So it depends on what you want in a beard wash. For most people, I'd recommend the Cremo Thickening wash over this, especially if you use a fragranced balm/oil/cream on your beard (the Thickening Wash's non distinct smell probably won't clash with another fragrance). Also, you can use less, so it lasts way longer. However, if you are more "wash and go" with your beard, and want one product that you can wash your beard and face with, it's worth giving this one a try. I generally have had great luck with different Cremo products, and this one has its place in their lineup. It's not my favorite, but it might end up being yours.
