Will not fit larger diameter rod as replacement parts.

I bought these as parts to replace an existing mount, but the rod is smaller, so the hinge opening isn't large enough to fit the rod from my existing parts. It is necessary to replace the entire old assembly with the new one. My screws on the seat were rusted through, so I can't unscrew them. I had hoped to avoid drilling them out by replacing only the broken mount, but this product isn't compatible. In fairness to the product, it may work just fine once it's installed. My low rating is because of lack of compatibility, not performance, although the thinner rod may imply that these hinges are less durable than my old ones.

Amazed at price for everything needed for the job

Smaller than I thought, however worked perfectly on my apartment bathroom toliet lid. Very easy instructions and install. Saved my toliet from a install gone wrong Bidet: flushed both screws from tolet down toliet, separate flushes!!! Used fu kit. Great price, fast shipping

Flexible, allow for adjustment but delicate. UPDATE: Change "Delicate" to "Flimsy" But still useful

Update - Lost another Star. The holes in the mounting tabs are horizontal with respect to the mounting axis instead of vertical which allows for changing the location of the seat and/or cover. The wood replacement seat I bought at Lowes to replace a "Builder Special" plastic one was off center a bit and the seat ended up misaligned by about 1/4 inch - enough to let the seat tabs slide right to the edge of the bowl and off to drop the seat a bit at the most inconvenient times. I was able to reposition the screws enough to get the seat properly aligned. Some problems though.

You get what you pay for....

...as the old saying goes. Price is right. Delivery is fast. Install is simple enough. Plastic is soft. Hinge breaks when someone sits on the closed toilet seat cover. Oh, well.

Lasted less than 2 months

We had the same experience as several other reviewers... but alas these were the only replacement hinges that would somewhat fit our toilet seat. To summarize: - lacked proper instructions - needed to drill more new holes to make these fit properly - once assembled and attached to the seat these only lasted 7 weeks before they became damaged and unusable.

design flaw

There is a design flaw in the mold which cause the unit to easily break upon tightening...just hand tight. And the cheap brittle plastic doesn't help. Buyers would be best to find another product.
