Works Great! Great for people looking for a clockwise rotation mail box lock.

The lock itself is very solid. The core turns 90 degrees clockwise to unlock and counter clockwise to lock. It turns very smoothly. Installation was a breeze. I ended up using the old cam since the "U" cam (the one pictured installed on the lock) wasn't deep enough to lock. Some folks may have trouble inserting the key smoothly because the dust cover has very good resistance. I'm sure over time the resistance will be less.

This is a good product. We used this to replace the lock on a mailbox. We liked the fact that the product came with a variety of lock levers. My only gripe is the cost seems a little high.

poor quality

terrible. got it installed easily enough but when almost done I pulled out the first key and went to test the second key. The little door and spring came off inside the lock! I was locked out of my mailbox! Had to tear the from open with pliers to extract the door and spring so I could get the key in and unlock the door,

Works well but rusting after 6 months

Worked ok, but seems to be rusting so i probably wouldnt purchse again because ill need to replace it this year for something stainless

Does not fit my mailbox

the lock does not fits my mailbox because none of the cams it provides are compatible with my mailbox. But I don't blame the lock, probably I should do my research before buying. By the way, the Amazon return process is awesome!
