Quality

More expensive than other brands but the quality is much better. My old Brinks door knobs would have to be retightened every month or so and the doorknob itself felt wobbly. These are very strong and sturdy. I wouldn't use any other brand.

Easy install, solid feel, nice look

Easy install to replace some old kwikset locks. Ordered 5 and was pleased that just by chance several sets shared the same key cut so less cost to me to have the others rekeyed to match. All 5 deadbolt/doorknob combos went on my 5 predrilled doors in about 60 minutes using only a Phillips screwdriver.

High quality

Best lockset ever owned. So easy to unlock with the key (but been told by a locksmith Schlage locks are hard to "pick") Worth the money especially over the cheap set (different brand) that locked me out 3 times.

Love the look

We changed out all of our door handles from gold to this color. I love the polished silver look. It isn't too shiny which is great.

Not a true Schlage lock but a Dexter lock set with Schlage keyway and stamps

This lock uses the same keyway as the Schlage lock (SC! or 69) key blank and can be rekeyed to work with other Schlage locks but is by no means the same quality as a Schlage lock. The body is a Dexter Lock which is about the same quality of a lock as a $10 Kwickset lock. unless you really like this handle style I would not pay this price for this cheep lock set again. I need new locks fast so I'm stuck with them., Please measure your thickness, this lock will not work on doors thicker than 1-1/2in thick. It will work on most of your interior door such as a bedroom door or closet but it is to light duty for an entrance door. And yes they do come with the Schlage logo stamped on them, I'm still waiting for a reply from Allegion (Schlage) if this is an indorsed product of theirs.
