I got a rectangle size which is not what I expected

It can work but disappointment. I don’t want to replace it because I am not sure what shape it will come. Also you need to keep original screws. There is no single screw with it.

missing bits

I bought a house with a version of this but in a color I didn't like. I had all the screws in place and I thought this could be a good and cheap solution as I just needed to replace the whole thing for it's color. However, I wasn't expecting that they wouldn't provide the cap to hide the screw that goes on the bottom of the handle. Now I have a satin nickel set up with a oiled bronze cap due to that. Those things are hard to find and expensive as well. This was a big let down.

Stainless Steel?

Less than a year ago I replaced all door knobs on our beach front condo with this style to avoid rusting. Stainless Steel? Generally magnets don’t stick to stainless AND stainless means it will not rust, often not the case with Chinese “Stainless Steel”. The jury is still out on the made in China knobs themselves as a magnet does not stick but I can tell you the strikes and internal mechanism are not Stainless Steel as magnets stick and in short order I’m seeing rust particularly the somewhat expose strike with I theorize are actually Nickel plated steel. I feel the description of Stainless Steel misleading.

Confusing, but can really save you money.

This thing is a bit confusing. What you get is exactly what you see plus a set of keys. Nothing for the inside . Not even the bolt to secure the bottom. In my case I had the interior knob already. Worked fine. I just needed the bolt to secure the bottom. I called Schlage. They could not help. I was able to buy the bolt and washer needed at a local home improvement store. Final thoughts- If you already have Schlage knobs inside you can buy this and bolt it up. Far less expensive than buying the set containing inside and outside handles at near $130.

Nice look, but missing latch

The door handle and deadbolt itself are nice, however, the latch (the guts) did not come with it. The old latch did not connect with the new door handle, so we ended up taking the old latch out and only use the deadbolt to lock it now. :(

Didn't realize it was a front half only set when I bought it. Not sure how I missed that. It works well though.

Great deal for $15(yes $15 when I bought it)

You get exactly as shown/advertised. No inside/indoor knob, no inside/indoor hardware to lock the door from inside, not even screws....but in all rightful ways. I bought it because I need to replace my outer handle only. Would have given 5 stars but saw that the price has been jacked up to $60+. When I bought it was only $15. At $15 it was a great deal but at $67 one might find better options.

Only exterior pieces -no interior pieces

I like the colour and the style of the handle and lock the quality is there. However this set is only the exterior pieces. so there is no interior knob supplied and no latches supplied or the interior thumb turn. Comes with exterior Handle and protection shield, tailpiece and security ring for deadbolt and keys. You will need to purchase all the interior pieces separate and the bolt and latch for the door piece separate. - I should have read the description better you will also need the bottom screw for the bottom of the handle as that is not supplied.

Should have been told only buying half a item

Ridiculous! Didn’t realize when I ordered this, that you only get one side of the lock set. It’s the outside. I’ve never in my life ever heard of only buying one side to a lock set. Very disappointed!
