The Doc Johnson Classic Jelly is an astounding steal for the price. If you don't feel like reading but want to know if you should buy it: JUST DO IT. I myself got the Crystal Clear version, however, I'm pretty sure my review will hold true for the other color variations. All in all, this jelly was better than I was expecting. This being my first toy of this sort, I had low expectations, especially with the other reviews complaining about the smell and thickness. To clarify about the smell: I am sensitive to, and despise, stinky things, and this toy did NOT have that bad of an odor (imagine opening a new vinyl shower curtain or a plastic pool toy; it did not overwhelm me, and it was not noticeable unless I put the toy directly under my nose - it did cling to my hands a bit, but it wasn't the end of the world and still really unnoticeable). As for the actual use of the toy, I am very fond of it. It is my new favorite. The softness of it and flexibility make it more realistic than harder toys, and I love the texture that the veins add. The head is pronounced, but not overly so. Honestly, for a piece of plastic, this is pretty darn good and not too different than the real thing. There is no flare to the base and no suction cup, but I had no issue keeping a handle on it, even with lubricant present. I prefer to use condoms with my toys (and for anyone else who does so, a Trojan Magnum condom unrolls completely over the toy and a bit off the end, preventing any sliding around of the condom), but I think I may try this one bare - with the smooth, soft/firm feeling to the material, it has to be incredible. I myself clean my toys withPipedreams Products Refresh Toy Cleaner, 4 Fluid Ounce , and found it to work well with removing the condom lubricant from the jelly. Got to keep your toys and yourself clean! This toy IS thick, relatively similar in width to the men I've been with. If you're looking for a pencil thin dong, look elsewhere. I have no issue wrapping my hand around it, and it is the good kind of thickness, not the painful sort (which some of my others are). I like realistic, and this fella pretty well covers it. And advice for ANY toy (and this applies to both genders): GO EASY ON YOURSELF. Gosh. So many people complain how toys don't "fit", but if you ease yourself into using it and use personal lubricant if necessary, you will have a much more pleasurable experience. All in all, the Crystal Jelly really is a good toy, and for the price it is offered on Amazon, a really excellent deal. I am not particularly active with the opposite gender, yet I had no issue with the length nor width of this one. I think one of the most appealing features of this fella is the "non-phthalate" nature of it; it doesn't have the plastic softening agents that make other jelly dongs uber smelly and dangerous to your health. It also is made of an antibacterial material, helping to keep it clean. If you purchase this, I don't think you'll be regretful later :) PS - Remember, do not use ANY silicone lube, petroleum jelly, etc. with Doc Johnson Classic Jelly - silicone and oil will break down this toy as they would a condom. This toy CANNOT be boiled, but can be cleaned with toy cleaner/mild soap and hot water. This toy CAN be warmed/cooled with water prior to use for a new experience.
