Smell is amazing, kinda weird texture

I absolutely love this smell. I wish it came in a body spray or candle too! The texture of this lotion is a tad wierd. When I apply it my legs stay kinda wet & sticky for hours. Normal lotion rubs on and your skin is left dry. Not with this a stuff. It does keep my skin moist.

I love this stuff! Especially using it right out of the shower, it’s the most effective. I wish it would be more moisturizing, but I like how it melts into the skin

A few things to know...

I bought this as I LOVE the smell of the same body scrub. I read reviews about it being greasy, not having the same scent, etc and MY experience is this: 1. Yes, it is a thicker lotion and it takes a little to absorb in but the KEY is to use a smaller amount than what you use with regular lotion. At first I did get that sticky, over-moisturized feeling but when I dialed back the amount I was putting on my skin, that went away. My shins and forearms are super dry and I just dip my fingertips in a tad and it is enough. I use this at night time about an hour before bed while I read and my shins (crepey skin) has never looked better! I don't use it on my face and if I get it on my hands (other than the back of my hands), I wipe some off. 2. When I first opened the containers (I bought a 3 pack), 2 of them smelled "off" and I was worried but I decided to go ahead and use them to see if it smelled different on. For whatever reason, once I used some of it....maybe the chemicals started mixing more or maybe it settled...idk but the smell on all 3 containers are exactly like the body scrub. I don't have an answer as to why it took a hot minute but they do smell great. This is a thicker lotion but I use it for my problem spots (back of hands, shins and feet) and it works GREAT for those! If you are older and have crepey skin, this will give a nice hydrated look to your skin.

Long lasting

You don't need to scoop it to get the cream. This is a thick , fresh alo vera texture like cream. Just touch the surface and get a sheer layer of the cream , that'll be enough for entire hand (shoulder to wrist) . I don't like wet creamy sensation of some creams and this one doesn't stay wet for long. I use this cream after shower (after using same brand scrub before shaving) . Even good for daily usage without the scrub. I think I'll be using it for a long time. Hope they'll keep the price as is (got 4 for $20, if you purchase only one container it might cost you $14).

It works

I have very dry skin to the point that I cannot take daily showers. This cream lasts on my skin for a long time and keeps the flakiness and crepey skin away. It is thick but spreads well. As others have reported, it does not come sealed. It looks like it was just poured in and doesn't have that first impression of new product look. I bought 3 jars and they all look like this so I assume that was just the way and wasn't previously used. When the time comes and I run out of this product, I will definitely buy it again.

Okay but won't buy again

I couldn't find this product in the store but really wanted to try it. I'm picky about scents- a lot of sented products give me headaches but I use other Dove soaps and body wash, so figured I'd try. The scent is very perfumey/ flowery in my opinion. It has a hint of what I think of as a rice milk scent but it's very faint. I expected more of a butter/vanilla type scent. I'll still use what I bought, but if I'd smelled this in the store I wouldn't have bought it based on the scent being to overwhelming for me. The texture of the cream itself seems fine, not as thick as some others ive used, but is creamier than a lotion.

Bought by accident, glad I did.

I meant to buy the bathe scrub, but purchased this by mistake. Glad I did! It’s strange to use since I don’t use jar lotion ever and the formula is very thick to the point you sort of have to carve out a dollop, but my very dry skin is showing a notable difference after a few weeks of use. Smell is pretty mild too. Smells “clean” and not perfumey.

Extra creamy & does the job in extra dry skin! Love it❤️

I am exceptionally dry skinned, bit since I found this cream.. my skin has never looked so good. I am 77 & take Dupixent for eczema .. it was hard to find cream better than cerave’ or lubricants the dermatologist recommended.. but I order on subscription thru Amazon to make sure I have plenty!
