Ar izturīgu, vieglu zig-zaga zoli ar papildu platformas augstumu, Dr. Martensa bleire sandalēm piemīt klasiska ārsta attieksme un izturīga nodilumizturība — un tās ir 100% vegānas. Doktors Martens ir leģendu apvīta. Viss sākās netālu no Minhenes, Vācijā, 1945. gadā, kad doktors Klauss Maertens slēpošanas negadījumā Bavārijas Alpos savainoja pēdu. Lai atvieglotu staigāšanu dzīšanas procesā, viņš izstrādāja apavus ar gaisa polsterētu zoli. Izmantojot vecās gumijas riepas, viņš uzbūvēja zoles, kurām slēgtos nodalījumos bija ieslodzīts gaiss. Viņš parādīja savu prototipu savam inženierim/izgudrotājam Dr. Herbertam Funkam, un viņi kopā nolēma izstrādāt un ražot apavus. Apavi ne tikai atrisināja ārsta tūlītēju problēmu, bet arī sāka labi pārdoties Vācijā. Līdz 1959. gadam abi nolēma, ka viņiem ir nepieciešams uzņēmums, kas ražo un izplata apavus, tolaik saukts par Dr. Maertens, citās pasaules daļās. Sākumā daudzi ražotāji noraidīja gaisa polsterētas zoles koncepciju kā īslaicīgu triku. Tomēr R. Griggs Group, kas atrodas Volstonas ciematā Anglijā, nolēma turpināt šo ideju, radot pirmos darba zābakus ar revolucionāro zoli. 1960. gada pirmajā aprīlī tika ražoti pirmie ķiršsarkanie astoņu cilpu darba zābaki, kas nosaukti par 1460. Lai zīmolu labāk pārdotu Anglijā, nosaukums tika anglisizēts ar nosaukumu Dr. Martens. Sortimentam bija AirWair zīmols, un pārējais ir vēsture.

Talla correcta

Seguí mis instintos a pesar de que en casi todas las reseñas dijeran que pidiera una talla menos, calzo 7 normalmente, tengo botas dr, talla 7 que me quedan perfectas… Seguí mis instintos porque pensaba que una talla 6 ya era demasiado pequeña y pedí 7 y para mi sorpresa me quedaron exactas ( Para mi están normal), mi pie creo que hasta se me pueden ver in poco pequeñas, mi pies es demasiado delgado y aún así no me quedo grande si siento que en la última correa si me queda un poco grande Mi opinión, pidan la talla que calzan mi pie mide 24,5 cm

So cute!!

I got these for a Taylor Swift concert I’m going to and I love them! I was worried about the sizing but the ones I got fit great! Im a size 8.5 in Nike shoes and a size 8 in converse. So I got a size 8 and they fit almost perfectly. Also they give you some pretty bad blisters the first few days but I think it’s totally worth it!

Size down!

These are so cute! I would size down! I’m interested to see if they’re going to make me blister throughout the day though as the straps are kinda uncomfortable

Buy the shoes

I was honestly so worried on purchasing, because they’re cheaper than anywhere else. I thought they were fakes, but I compared them to a pair I previously purchased from the docs store and they’re 100 % authentic! I’m a 7 and ordered 7, they’re a little loose, but the fit is fine. I suggest trying on in person elsewhere then ordering here.

Sizing if off

Sizing was really off with these. I ordered a 9 and a 10 unfortunately they were either too big or too small. I found some knock offs that fit just right for wayyyy less, I was shocked lol. But I love dr martens and all the boots I have fit just right, I do wish these were avail in a 1/2 size but I guess these just aren’t for me. I am a size 9 these are about less than an inch too small :/

Size Down

I haven't worn yet, but love the way they look and feel. I knew they fit big so ordered a size 7. I usually wear an 8-8.5 and the 7 fits perfectly. If you have narrow feet these will most likely be too loose for you. They are really lightweight despite the chunky look.

So so cute and comfy & yes you should size down!

I am loving these sandals! I've been seeing them on Instagram and I thought they would go with any summer (even fall?) outfit, give you some height (which is greatly appreciated, for me!), and be comfy. I — like many, I'm sure — was worried about ordering the wrong size due to mixed reviews. I was totally unsure about whether to believe reviews about sizing down. In the end, I did and I'm so happy about it! To give you a little insight, I'm a size US 7 or 7.5 (depending on the shoe), and I have slightly wider feet (not very wide, but they are definitely on the average to wide side of the spectrum.) I got a size 6, and they fit literally perfect!! The middle strap is the ~ tiniest ~ bit tight (not noticeable or painful), but I know it will give after a few wears (I haven't worn them out yet.) The size gives just enough length. I would say if you have very wide feet, the middle strap may be too tight for you (I would recommend sticking with your regular size, as opposed to sizing down to give you more space in the straps; although they will stretch a little.) I'm so stoked about this purchase & very excited about styling these shoes a bunch of different ways!

It’s super cute but not comfortable

I love the fit and how it feels on my feet. But walking feels stiff and uncomfortable. It makes my shins hurt too.

Look and feel amazing

I love my new sandals. They are a little rough since it is vegan leather, but it is just a matter of ajusting the belt to find confort. The sole is amazing, soft and supportive. Over top of it all, they rock !!
