Good size, odd sizing, poor return policy
This is an addendum to my previous review. Alas, ordering a new size, a second time, doesn't generate a second review. I'll leave my original review, from 2yo, for reference. My current experience is that my original size was just a bit too long. So this time I ordered 1/2 size smaller. Unfortunately, they were disproportionately narrower than before (4E in each case). I expected only 1/2 size down to be only minimally narrower. It was a much bigger difference, and the new shoes were too narrow. Very unhappy with Amazon on this, too. When I went to exchange the shoes, for the next width (which was in stock, by the way), I was told that the original promo was not running any longer, and I could only get a refund for what I paid, thus re-ordering would cost more. Shoes should not be sold in this manner. There is built-in uncertainty in regard to fit. If Amazon wants to be in the shoe business, they shouldn't tell people, in essence, 'sorry, promo is over. We won't help you.' Bad business practices, here, Amazon. My original review from 2017: A decent pair of shoes. A relief after the Rockports I ordered, which turned out to be far too narrow for their supposed 'extra wide' width. Long-term assessment has yet to be made, but they held up pretty well after a month of a backpacking trip, which included a lot of medieval stairs and even a mountain trail or two. My only complaint is that the heel keeps sliding on the back of one foot, and I'm not sure how to tighten it properly to avoid this problem.

This shoe is just what I was looking for. I needed a shoe with a rocker sole and good support to put an orthotic insole in to help with foot pain. Good looking also.

Kommt 3x nicht die Größe die man bestellt hat.
Es gibt den Schuh in Übergröße, das ist super. Er ist auch verhältnismäßig schnell da. Allerdings ist nicht einmal die Größe geliefert worden, die ich bestellt hatte. Ich habe dreimal hintereinander bestellt, da die Größenabweichung 2-3 Schuhgrößen waren. Den letzten Schuh konnten wir behalten, die Abweichung war aushaltbar. Von der Verarbeitung, Tragekomfort gibt es nichts zu beanstanden… da macht der Schuh einen soliden Eindruck. Zwei Schuhe habe ich zurück schicken müssen… und dies geht nur über bestimmte dhl international Standorte, diese gibt es pro Postleitzahlanfangsnummer ca. 3 mal. Kann man sich also vorher überlegen, ob man gewillt ist diesen Weg auf sich zu nehmen. An sich ist die Rücksendung kostenlos. Meine Rücksendung ist allerdings seit über 4 Wochen noch nicht verbucht. Daher ich warte auf mein Geld.
