Even though this is the manufactured recommended part for my grill

This is a poorly designed product for fitting on a propane tank for grilling. The fitting has a hex or octagon nut fitting against a circular part of the tank valve. I could not get it to stop leaking, which was the reason I needed to replace it, because a gas leak started a fire below the grill. Even though this is the manufactured recommended part for my grill, I ended up substituting this assembly with one by Weber, which has a round connection fitting against the circular part of the tank valve. I returned this product to Amazon, and was given a full refund. YAYYYY Amazon.
