Quality Tough Yak Leather! It’s Picture is Accurate to the Shape!

Only 1 negative, the shoe runs just a hair on the large size! But not so much you can go to a smaller size! I am happy with mine and think i may have to try other ECCO shoes now, if i can afford them…Oh, so i guess thats 2 negative things really!

Solid shoe just not as comfortable as anticipated

Ecco makes fabulous stuff, usually a bit narrow which works well for my feet. This shoe however, runs just a bit large, and then ended up being extremely uncomfortable when tightened (too loose, heel movement/rub. too tight, rubs/constricts on the top of my left foot). Smaller size had a notch in the heel area that then rubbed also, despite full on hiking socks. This may be idiosyncratic and just "me". Different feet will fit different. Attractive shoe, solidly constructed, liked it very much...just couldn't wear it. Able to return free of charge so no obvious penalty for trying it out.

Simply uncomfortable

The bigger size is too big, the smaller is too small + uncomfortable. The return is difficult I am not impressed for the price

Ecco No Go on Hiking shoes

Ecco are my go to shoes - I've had multiple sneakers, boots, and golf shoes. I keep buying them because they are ridiculously comfortable, last a long time, and look good. When it was time to get new hiking shoes, I thought ecco is the only choice. Boy was I wrong! First off, I have size 43 for all my ecco shoes. I ordered 43 in these shoes and they were enormous! I returned and sized down. The size down fit, but I could not walk in these things longer than 5 minutes without my ankles killing me. It rubs right against the part of the ankle on the sides. I couldn't stand it and returned them. I went over to dsw and found 3-4 similar shoes that were much cheaper and felt great. I'm sad that I couldn't complete my ecco shoe line. This will be the last ecco hiking shoes I will ever try.

They are comfortable after you break them in a bit

These are a bit more rigid then the prior two pairs of Ecco shoes I purchased (Men's Biom Venture Gore-tex Tie Hiking Shoe and ECCO Men's Espinho Speed Lace Hiking Shoe, which both seemed equivalent). I loved my prior two pairs which were immediately comfortable to wear, but they are discontinued and appear no longer available so I opted for these. As the name indicates these are hiking shoes and therefore a bit more rigid. However they are still on the lighter side in terms of hiking shoes so great for everyday wear--especially in the Seattle rain. You need to break these in a bit before they feel comfortable. The initial discomfort for me was primarily above and around the toe box. They feel very well built and waterproof. They also look great. Update: After about a year the material (on inside) behind the heel wore down so now there is a horizontal break with a piece of semi-hard material that rubs into my achilles tendon. I have to repair of toss. Taking off one star for this. Otherwise they have been great. Also I'm not sure why this is now described as a "woman's shoe".

In short, it takes more than a month to place an order and purchase the goods. This shoe is a model that ECCO has just launched. I personally like it. It is very suitable for outdoor sports. The appearance is relatively young and fashionable. It is said that the sole is cooperated with Michelin. I wear a size 42 all the time, which translates to a US size 8.5. It is very comfortable to wear on the feet and relatively light. The shoe shape of this shoe is actually more suitable for Europeans and Americans. Asians have wider feet, so the inside of the shoe is suitable for left and right, but there is more space in the front and rear of the shoe. The details of the shoes have been designed with a lot of thought, some for practicality, and some for aesthetics. Massive Außensohle, daher sehr schwer

Von den anderen Rezensionen wusste ich ja schon, dass dieser Wanderschuh etwas zu groß ausfällt. Da ich zwischen Gr. 42 und 43 schwanke, habe ich deshalb Gr. 42 bestellt. Im Vorderfußbereich passen meine breiten Füße sogar rein, aber ich habe keinen festen Halt im Mittelfußbereich. Außerdem ist dies der schwerste ECCO Schuh, den ich jemals auf die Waage gelegt habe: Ein einzelner Schuh wiegt 533g! Zum Vergleich: Sportschuhe der großen Marken wiegen maximal ca. 320g je Schuh. Ich bleibe deshalb bei meinen bisherigen ECCO Lieblingsschuhen: Das ist zum einen der ECCO Biom Fjuel M Sneaker (Nubuk Leder, Gr. 43, 367g) und zum anderen der ECCO Biom Country GTX (Ripstop-Material, Gr. 42, 386g).

Ein super Schuh

Der Schuh hat eine gute Passform. Er ist gut verarbeitet, leicht und sieht gut aus. Beim Gehen habe ich das Gefühl, ich würde über Waldboden laufen. Einfach klasse.
